Denver Pop Up Booth
We wound up stopping by Hi-Dive venue and hosting our first pop up booth there. It was a big success! We took a tintype of a gentleman named Austin and spread the word to every curious passerby. It was so much fun and so nice to meet new people.
An image from Vail.
Taking our friend Caitlin's tintype in Vail - photo courtesy of Whitney, who is traveling with us on this leg of the trip.
Our pop up booth in Denver!
Now headed to Wyoming and Stanley, ID!
Our first night on the Tintype Tour we stayed in Rend Lake State Park. We parked Sun Beam the 65 Shasta right next to the lake and woke up to the beautiful serenity of the lake.
Vail, CO
The tintype tour is currently in Vail, CO enjoying this beautiful weather! We will be in Denver tomorrow morning at Crema Coffee (2862 Larimer St) from 10-12.
In the meantime, we're hanging with friends!
See you at Crema tomorrow!
Guadalupe National Forest
On the way to Las Cruces, we drove through Guadalupe National Forest and of course stopped to hike one of the trails for a few miles. After driving for 2 days straight, it was a nice break.
Getting closer to Las Cruces, we also came across a random sunflower field in search of a river.
This concludes our trip to New Mexico. Posts about our trip to Denver start tomorrow!
Organ Mountains, New Mexico
After White Sands, we camped in Aguirre Springs National Park and it was one of the coolest nights of my life. It was my first time sleeping in a camper and I loved it. The couch/bed was surprisingly comfy and the temperature was perfect.
I've never seen a brighter moon.
So of course the sunrise was also beautiful.

White Sands National Monument New Mexico
Recently, Kendra and I road-tripped to New Mexico to pick up her Shasta camper trailer. As soon we picked up the trailer we went to White Sands National Monument. It's a random patch of white sand dunes that have been there for millions of years right outside Las Cruces, New Mexico. Of course we found the opportunity to take a few photos.
It's nice to be reminded how small you are.
Flower Crown Society
Kendra and I did a shoot with Flower Crown Society not too long ago and here is some of the film from it. I love the way these came out, especially the multiple exposure at the end. Flower Crown Society makes gorgeous headbands for brides, music festivals, and any gal loves headbands.
Till next time!
Kendra, Bug the pitbull and I will be making our way to Portland/Boise/Denver/Seattle areas to meet like minded people and take their tin types! So follow us on instagram at razorlamb and wet_plates to see our journey and meet up with us! We would love to meet you!
Flower Crown Society Preview
Yesterday I assisted Kendra Elise Photography for a shoot with Flower Crown Society. It was fun to be really girly and right by the river. We shot mainly film so those rolls will come back in about 3 weeks but in the meantime, here is a little preview.
For all of your headband needs, you can shop Flower Crown Society's Etsy here . You can also like them on Facebook !

Lifeline Animal Project
I recently went to Lifeline Animal Project and photographed a few of the dogs there. I'm very happy to share this post for a few reasons. Mainly because of how great Lifeline is for the local animal population. They work so hard to find animals good homes, to help an animal in need, or if an animal isn't adoptable, they give it a place to live for the rest of it's life. I'm proud to share that I take 20% out of every session and put it in a savings account to donate to a local animal shelter. I'm happy to say that I raised my first $50 and donated it to Lifeline to help with a dog's femur surgery. $50 isn't much, but I know every bit counts. Being able to donate what I've saved to an animal in need is especially rewarding. I'm very thankful to everyone for all the support I've received thus far and to everyone in the future. Here's to creating more beautiful images and helping animals in need along the way.
Thank you
Chattahooche River
One of my favorite summer activities is to go to the river and swim or hang out with friends. Sadly I didn't get to go very often this summer because of a busy schedule and rainy weather all the time. However, some photos from one of my favorite places.
Enjoy!
Gibbs Gardens
Since I blogged about Father's Day yesterday, it's only fitting that today is about Mother's Day! This past Mother's Day we went to Gibbs Gardens, which is a 292 acre garden run by Jim Gibbs. Gibbs is the founder of Gibbs Landscape Company, which has been one of Atlanta's leading landscape companies for the last 40 years. He is also a founding member of the Atlanta Botanical Garden. Gibbs Gardens is really special because it changes every few weeks, so if you go different times throughout the year, you will always see something different. It's absolutely beautiful and so impressive how much thought and care Gibbs puts into it. My Mom was very happy and blown away by the magnificence of it.

57th Restaurant
I know Father's day was a while ago, but I wanted to share this film from it. My Dad used to be a sail plane pilot but gave it up when my brother was born. He hasn't flown since but still loves planes. So for Father's Day we went to The 57th Restaurant, which is a restaurant in Atlanta that has a lot of 57th Fighter Group memorabilia.
What makes this restaurant extra special is that either before or after your delicious steak dinner, you can take a ride on a biplane, which is the first airplane to fly. They have two wings, one stacked on top of each other. They sit 5 people, 4 in the front, and one pilot in the back. They give you awesome caps and goggles to wear, think Amelia Earhart's era.
Since it was a special day, we took the special sunset route over downtown Atlanta. I saw the Varsity, GA Tech, Underground Atlanta and the general location of my house.
Enjoy!
Flashback to Better Weather
The other day I had the pleasure of finding a few rolls of film that I had no idea what was on them. So I got them developed and am so pleased with the results.
This first one is from a shoot Kendra and I did with Golda Kombucha over the summer. My friend makes the kombucha in her kitchen and the Golda name comes from her grandmother who taught her how to make it. Sorry, these might really make you want strawberries.
Over the summer, I assisted Kendra E S Adams Photography on tin type portraits of all the employees of Live Free Tattoo. You can see the tin types on Kendra's website or by visiting the shop and soon on Live Free's website. I shot polaroids and a roll of film for fun. Enjoy!
