FELIX:

Kat sure knew how to annoy him, he could give her that. Felix sits up as he skims over the work she was occupied with. “Oh shove it, I’ll be as loud as you want. First annoying question, what are you even working on?” He picks up one of the flash cards, trying to logic out what was on it; was he really that bad in school? “It looks boring as hell.”

( ! — *✧ : Eyes roll to the heavens as kat closes her book, looking up at her younger brother  the sound of Felix, Kat’s eyes dart up, eyebrows raised. ❝ It’s chemistry, felix. ❞ the female says as if its the most obvious thing in the world.  ❝ And it is NOT boring, it’s incredibly interesting, actually. ❞

DEREK:

          It was strange how some people just triggered his anxiety and some didn’t. Even Felix and Danny sometimes made him anxious feeling, especially on bad days. Part of him wanted to run back to the only person that he’d met that didn’t make him feel that way; the only person who had never made him feel that way. “Okay, good. I was worried. He sounded either very dramatic or very sick last time I texted him. You don’t have to tell him I asked if you don’t want to,” Derek said. “Has Danny been around much during break?” He knew he shouldn’t meddle, but he was curious. “Because I’ve got something to tell him and he’s not answering his phone so I’m wondering if he might be with Felix and I can just swing by or text Felix.” 

( ! — *✧ :   ❝ He was both incredibly sick and very dramatic, it’s the whole teenage hormones thing I think, hopefully he grows out of it soon. ❞ her voice is dull, almost as if she’s already bored of talking to the boy. ❝ The Turner boy? Hm, I think i’ve seen him hanging round the house a few times, I dunno, maybe, you’re welcome to swing by if you wanna check, it’s not like our dad’ll notice. ❞

DANIEL S:

“i beg to differ.” he counters as he slips his hands into his jacket, gazing down to her books. “it’s great to be prepared and all, but there is such thing as being too prepared. they do enforce breaks through the year for good reason.”

( ! — *✧ : A look that can be described as nothing short of confusion crosses her face.  ❝ Oh, I don’t think one can ever be too prepared. Plus, it’s not like I ever have anything to do during these breaks, so I might as well do something useful. ❞

FELIX:

“Grouch,” Felix mutters, not caring that it seemed she didn’t want company, leaning back in the seat. “You can work with me here, there’s no law against it. Can’t I just enjoy being granted the pleasure of your company?” All theatrics aside, Felix was never one to turn down hanging out with his sister, even if he was shit at saying it sometimes.

( ! — *✧ : At the sound of Felix, Kat’s eyes dart up, eyebrows raised. ❝ Grouch? Really? ❞ Still, she’s happy to see her brother out and about.  ❝ Actually, there is a law, I just made it up in fact, and it says if you’re going to sit here you must be quiet unless asking me the questions written on these flashcards. ❞

DEREK:

          “No,” Derek said, while pushing his glasses back up on his face. He wasn’t going to comment on how rude that statement was. He sat across from Kat, coffee in one hand and tea in the other. “Uh, I was just going to ask if Felix was feeling better. ‘Cause he was sick and… I’ve not been near reliable cell service until now to check up on him.” 

( ! — *✧ : Her eyes shoot up at Derek’s abrupt reply, almost unable to comprehend that he actually spoke to her like that. Still, she knows he’s close with Felix so decides to bite her tongue and close the book she’s reading.  ❝ Felix is fine, I’ll let him know you where asking after him.  ❞ It’s a short and blunt response to his question. ❝ Anything else? ❞

AKIO:

          “Is this seat taken?” Akio asked, sitting down anyway with out an invitation. He’d been curious as to what she was working on and usually wouldn’t bother someone working. Except, he didn’t care anymore. The school year was almost up. “What are you working on? It’s spring break.” 

( ! — *✧ : A huff and a sigh come out of Kat’s lips, arms cross over as she looks up at the rather rude intruder. ❝ I’m looking over the work we’ll be doing when we go back, It’s always good to be prepared. Puts me ahead of the game. ❞

RICKY:

“in case you haven’t noticed, there are no other seats. the place is packed and you should’ve considered that before taking up a whole booth for just you.” ricky’s smile was twisted with sarcasm as he made himself comfortable in the seat to show the other that he wasn’t planning on going anywhere. “why’re you doing work, anyways? it’s spring break.”

( ! — *✧ : ❝ go and pester someone else - look, that man over there also has a whole booth to himself and it doesn’t look like he’s doing anything important, unlike me. ❞ Kat says blandly, looking up at the other as she crosses her arms. ❝ Because, you can never be too prepared. I’m looking over what is going to be studied when we go back, I like to be ahead of everyone else. ❞

DANIEL S.:

what is it with people and attitude around here? dan’s starting to think that perhaps he shouldn’t be civil to every tom, dick and harry just to avoid being snapped at. nevertheless, he simples gives her a confused look and huffs. “i was just asking what were you working on?”

( ! — *✧ : Eyes roll back at the question, she’s really not in the mood for this SHIT.  ❝ I’m just revising everything studied this semester and looking over what will be studied when we go back. You can never be too prepared, after all. ❞
