For someone who considers events such as school dances to be something only airheads care about, Tristan finds himself uncharacteristically excited when the day approaches. Call it silly, but he considers himself a team player. And his team (Jocks and Queen Bees) were surely coming to represent and make all of the other losers feel bad. So, he takes pride in his ensemble for the evening. A subtle pinstripe pattern to his all-black suit, fedora in tow (with a silver feather to match his tie and pocket square), and a balloon tommy gun in hand, he’s the spitting image of a 1920′s character who isn’t allowed a real gun. For comedic purposes or because he’s too irresponsible and insane to be allowed to wield a real one, it’s up in the air. It’s a good icebreaker either way.
He saunters into the gymnasium and takes in the decor, thinking the event committee perhaps went little too overboard with all of black, gold, and art deco. But nevertheless, rather than to disparage their hard work, he walks up to someone who catches his eye.
“My, my, don’t you look dashing.”
