Hi lovely, how long did it take you to save for your Chanel bags? I’m wanting to purchase a bag and I know it’s quite pricey! It’ll probably take me 6 months to buy given I have heaps of bills and other more important priorities :( but just wondering whether you were rigorously saving for your bags or you were a bit more cruisey and just bought it when you could? TIA xx

Hi love! 

Don’t rush these sort of things! Whether you put $20 a week towards it, or $100 a week towards it, just work at it slowly and make sure you prioritise all your other expenses first! As mentioned previously, i just have a separate savings account for things such as bags, holidays and miscellaneous purchases which is separate to my savings account for other things such as a house. I put money i make through side jobs such as freelance/instagram etc into that account which just slowly builds over time so that when i do find something i like, i’m able to draw from the money in that account! 

Buying designer products should never set you back financially (to the point where you are left with little to no savings) and you should only ever spend within your means. However, it’s important to treat yourself once in a while and reward yourself for working hard! Just keep at the savings plan that you currently have and buy when you feel comfortable and ready! :)

Good series or kdramas?

I recently just finished Power (on Stan) and highly recommend! Such a great series with so many plot twists. 

As for Kdramas i’ve just finish It’s okay to not be okay which was sooo good! First time seeing an asian drama address issues such as mental health which was great to see. Other recent dramas i recommend are:

- What’s wrong with secretary Kim

- The King: Eternal Monarch

- Vagabond

- The K2

- Uncontrollably Fond

- Itaewon Class

Hi lovely, i hope quarantine hasn’t been too rough on you either! 

I definitely recommend something comfortable; especially if you plan on doing a lot of walking/sight seeing/activities! I personally always bring my Adidas Ultraboosts because they have good support and are extremely comfortable. Not the prettiest shoe i must admit, but great for travelling! 

If you want something a little more stylish, you could go with some simple white Nike Air Force 1′s! The back rubs into your ankle if you wear invisible socks (especially if they’re new), but if you wear the right socks and wear them in abit they should be fine! 

Try to avoid shoes with a really thin or flat base, i.e. converses or vans unless you insert some insoles. Your feet are going to feel so tired after a long day of walking in them without the right support! x

Would you say the Dyson airwrap set is worth it??

100% worth it! I honestly use it to dry my hair more than to curl it to be honest because the brush tools just make your hair feel so smooth and non-frizzy!

Hi Kat ! Only started dying my hair last year so I am bit of a boogie when it comes to hair 😞 I was just wondering Is it necessary to go hairdressers just tone your hair? After getting it done 3 months prior? Or is it waste of money and better off waiting for the next appointment? Thanks

Hi lovely! 

I personally go to the hairdressers for a toner because i just get a trim whilst i’m there! It also really depends on what colour your hair is. For instance, if i was still platinum blonde i’d definitely be heading to the hairdressers for a toner because it just looks a lot fresher, even and they’re able to get a cleaner look than i ever could at home haha. But with darker hair, you could definitely look at doing this at home by yourself!

Ooo! I usually look for mascaras that’s target length than volume but i do love the Hourglass Caution Mascara, Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Noir Major mascara and Nars Climax Mascara for thicker, more voluminous lashes! xx

I personally love the Mecca Cosmetica Double ended perfecting brush! Perfect density for cream products and i love that it’s double sided!

do your finger nails ever grow?

I like keeping my natural nails short! It’s just more sanitary, easier to type with for work/studies as i type a lot and i feel like i’m not tempted to pick/irritate blemishes as often haha. I also work in the makeup industry and having long nails is just a no go when doing makeup on clients. So much product, makeup and dirt can get stuck underneath so keeping them short is just the best way to go (for me personally anyway!)

However in saying that, i do like getting longer nails for special events from time to time! I probably only get my nails done 5-6 times a year though 😅

Hello! It really depends on what kind of finish and coverage you’re after. 

For something super natural and dewy that can be worn on it’s own, i highly recommend the RMS Uncover up concealer or the Bareminerals Bareskin Serum Concealer. For something a little more high coverage, i would recommend Tarte Shapetape concealer, Too Faced Born this way concealer, Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Concealer or the Nars Creamy Radiant Concealer. For a great spot concealer, i highly recommend the Nars Soft Matte Concealer :) x

I would highly recommend Zara for affordable denim, or Abrand, Wrangler or any of the denim sold on Princess Polly! Grlfrnd and Agolde on Revolve are amazing too :) x

I actually don’t have that many designer belts aside from the Gucci one my sisters bought me a few years ago! 

I would probably recommend the YSL belt if you want something classy and timeless! The hermes and gucci belts are nice but in my opinion, a bit over worn haha.
