i feel like ive never really expressed my thoughts on the later seasons of mlp so here

idk why the later seasons of mlp emphasize that characters in equestria need to learn about friendship like in an academic sense like it’s something the average pony doesn’t know? the original plot was the Ponies of the world Knew all that but twilight specifically was a shut in who didn't have friends so she needed to learn how to open up and trust people, it was only a big revelation to her and while the other mane 6 had friendship lessons they were more so extensions of their characters by challenging the more ugly sides of their personalities. also this is a stupid complaint but why the tf did hasbro not make like any merchandise of characters after the 2017 movie, comparing the toy output before that it’s Insane like fans of the later seasons would actually enjoy merchandise of those characters. also i think twilight shouldn't be a princess, and the SHOW KNOWS THIS so it’s not too bad but id rather her be a scientist/professor. ALSO before you say anything Yes i know friendship is in the title and Yes friendship is quite literally magic in the mlp universe but idk i feel like stretching it THAT far is kind of dumb like yeah originally there was a lot of friend based concept but idk it just leads to weird implications about the world

we don't even know what these are. we wouldn't want to fuck with these

4. Babies

babies are so powerful that we can't even bear the weight of responsibility of remembering what it's like to be one. that's kind of fucked up

3. These guys

These guys are like ants. they're too smart for their own good and there are armies of identical ones that all look the same so you can't even tell them apart

2. Soft creature

Does anyone else think it's kind of scary how cute these are? We'd like to remind you that they're apex predators. Don't let your guard down.
