Who would of thought that Fig and Caputo, 2 of the worst characters in the beginning, would end the show being 2 of the best.

I’m just thinking about how Mick reacted to Nate’s death.

Because we’ve seen Mick reacting to deaths before. He was silently devastated by Snart’s. He cried at Stein’s funeral. He was sad over Rip’s.

But Nate’s? He’s furious. He flat out DEMANDS that John brings Nate back to life. The idea that Nate is dead and gone is just unthinkable to Mick.

Which isn’t a massive surprise considering that Nate is kind of the Legend that Mick brought on to the team. Nate’s the one who kept getting in the way of Mick’s death wish/borderline suicide attempts in season two.

Nate was the person Mick talked to in Vietnam, the first person Mick almost told that his father was abusive, the person who found Mick burning himself and took the lighter (which Mick later even refused to take back.)

And then in season four, Nate was the person who ditched the party with Mick and went to rob a house with him. Mick even brings up his abusive father again. And at Hank’s funeral, Nate vents to him, and Mick gives him advice.

Nate? Dead? That’s fucking unacceptable, and Mick Rory will hold hands and sing if he has to.
