another adventure art idea: x files. I feel jax and pomni as mulder and scully, someone else as the monster of the week they’re hunting but open to different if you’re feeling it!!!

I LOVE this but I raise you: there is already a red-haired character who argues with Jax and maintains an opposing view of things to him already ;)

The crossover of X Files fans and digital circus fans isn’t huge but I’m glad that theres at least one other person out there!! I started my tumblr acc because I was obsessed with txf haha.

Flashback rough drafts I made after episode 8 when I was imagining what the old circus dynamics might have been. Never posted them here so might as well, since they didn’t end up ageing TOO horribly?

the first chapter of my wild west ragpom fic is finally up! this is inspired by a piece of fan art i saw from @katnipjpg that i'm lowkey obsessed with, and though it's just my silly interpretation, i just had to borrow those adorable outfits and setting ♡

Pirate adventure!! All hands on deck!!

Part 2 of drawing tadc eps I wish we got. Here’s my idea for what a pirate adventure episode could look like:

They have to steal a buried treasure, but upon opening it, a curse is unleashed and they have to battle a kraken or something.

The A plot of the episode would be maybe about Pomni and Ragatha maybe butting heads over having different styles of leadership/working, but ultimately overcoming conflict and learning to work together to finish the adventure while learning a little more about each other.

The B plot is Zooble being frustrated that their body parts make the adventure really difficult as they sink in the sand, or struggle to swim or they’re stuck with a peg leg and hook, but Kinger helps them learn to adapt their mindset and utilise what they’ve been given to get through the adventure and help defeat the kraken or something.

The C plot is Gangle being tormented over and over by Jax (I almost drew a version of this where he had tied her to the mast hahaha). Maybe Ragatha and Pomni’s disagreement in how to do things bleeds into the C plot where they have different ideas on how to deal with Jax, too. Somehow she gets one back on him by the end.

If this were a longer show I imagine this as a mid season 1 episode of a 24 episode season. Pomni is still learning about everyone but is starting to get confident taking charge in some places.

Did you see the finale yet? What are your thoughts?

I saw it opening night! First and foremost:

Everyone talking about it after the leaks were so dramatic omfg. The way people who watched the leaks talked about the ending made it sound like it was going to be Hazbin Hotel levels of bad. There was plenty of great stuff in that finale and im glad that the show ended positively (especially because it makes so much sense thematically hello!)

My only real criticisms are: repetitive & vague comforting conversations that happen like 50 times throughout the show. I don’t think any real new ground was even covered in any of them haha other than like Ragatha and pomni but even that could’ve just been a conversation in episode 7 instead or something.

Jax’s abstraction doesn’t really feel like it ties in thematically to the whole thesis of the show being to find comfort in a still life/the human experience and the importance of empathy and kindness to help us get through our repetitive existence. The show has always been about that in all of its character arcs and storylines, but Jax dying just feels kind of like a random segment that halts the story for 20 minutes without tying in THEMATICALLY!!!

A friend suggested that Caine’s deletion could have relegated him to instead have to experience the empathy shown to Jax and have his experience seeing Pomni offer Jax redemption be the epiphany that helps him learn that he (Caine) needs to listen and empathise and learn and change! Something like that would make the whole build up to Jax abstracting and Caine’s change of heart tie together a bit better

But I also thought the finale was very heartfelt and sweet and the funny segments in Jax’s mind were the best parts! I think the dialogue in the show is at its best when it’s toeing the line between comedy and serious!

Overall, I’m just so thankful for this wonderful series and I couldn’t be happier that I get to say goodbye to it on the big screen :)

I’m going to miss the excitement of waiting for new content, of analysing every possible bunnydoll moment in the new episodes, the terrible but also wonderfully creative and talented fandom and all the content they create which is probably the reason I ended up loving the show so much in the first place

This show has been one of the biggest inspirations of my life. Without it, I would have never decided to finally start pursuing a dream of making digital art, getting to sell my own work and have it seen by some very cool people.

I have loved this fandom very much, and I have loved getting to create a community on here with you all too 💞
