Hi guys (if somebody is still here hopefully), long time no see!

I’m just here to give a short life-update after more than a year: 

Obviously I’m still alive and had to change my Sims-ego because I’ve got red hair now.

Right now I’m moving so there will be a very good reason for me to be inactive again. In the last months I’ve just got other priorities: When I’ve got to work I was too tired to play afterwards and I’ve spent my holidays I just hadn’t the possibility to play then because I wasn’t at home. Hopefully that will change when I’ve moved and everything is settled.

I hope everyone who is reading this is fine, too.

Lately I’ve thought about my project “Forgotten Glimmerbrook Tales” and I hope that I’ll be able to bring that story to an end. Even if I’ve got the terrible trait to be unable to bring my stories to an end. But the live can be full of changes and maybe so can I.

Adrian sat on his bed because he didn't want to hear the conversation between his parents. He looked at his phone for a second before he called Lejla.

Lejla: Hey, is everything okay? 

Adrian: Yeah, I thought about you and wanted to hear your voice. What are you doing? 

Lejla: Homework and waiting for Lia. After school, she went off and I'm getting a bit worried. 

Adrian: That's weird, didn't she tell you anything? 

Lejla: No, I got the feeling that she's upset because her grandfather trained me  instead of her. But she's too nice to admit it towards me. 

Adrian: And if you ask her directly? 

Lejla: How should I do that when she's not here? 

Adrian: She'll return, I'm sure of that. You’ll get your chance to talk about it.

Lejla: And if anything happened to her? I don't know where she is after all.

Adrian: Don't worry, she'll be fine. Shall we meet and talk in person?

Lejla: Not today, but thank you. I’ll finish homework and maybe she’ll return any minute. Can I see you tomorrow?

Adrian: Sure, at 2 pm?

Lejla: Perfect, I’m looking forward to see you tomorrow.

Adrian: Yeah, me too. Sleep well and I’m sure Dahlia will return by any minute.

Mrs. Dalca left her son alone and went to her husband who had just returned from work. He sat at the table in the dining room and seemed a bit tired to her.

Mrs. Dalca: Darling?

Mr. Dalca looked at his wife when she sat down on a free chair on his left side with a wide grin on her face. 

Mr. Dalca: Yes? 

Mrs. Dalca: It seems like our son is in love. 

Mr. Dalca: Why do you think so? Did he tell you something? 

Mrs. Dalca: Not clearly, but a mother feels something like that. He is happier than before. Something changed around him. 

Mr. Dalca: Do you know that you're an incredible mother?

Mrs. Dalca blushed and smiled at her husband. 

Mrs. Dalca: Like you as a dad. We've always been a good team. Our kids are proof of that. You know, I’m thankful to have you in my life. Especially after that night...

Mr. Dalca: I’m so glad I could save him that time.

Mrs. Dalca: And I’m just glad both of you are still here. Some people...

Mr. Dalca: Shh, I know. But everything is fine now.

Meanwhile, Adrian was at home, listening to music and smiling to himself. His mother entered the room and watched him in silence for a moment before sitting down on the armchair next to him. 

Adrian: How can I help you, Mom?

Adrian turned down the volume of the music to talk to his mother. 

Mrs. Dalca: You seem quite happy these days.

Adrian: Maybe I am. 

Mrs. Dalca: How so? Is there any reason for that? A certain person? 

Adrian: Maybe.

Mrs. Dalca: Not in a talking mood?

Adrian: Oh Mom! 

Mrs. Dalca: Heh, a classic conversation with a teenager these days!

His mother smiled at Adrian mischievous.

Adrian: It's just... It's too soon to talk about it.

Mrs. Dalca: Okay, I'll respect that. But remember; if you want to talk about it, I'm here for you. I'm happy when you're happy after all.

Adrian: Thanks, Mom.

Noah: Dahlia, you know I’m...

Dahlia: Oh sorry, Noah! I didn’t mean to bore you with old stories. Maybe my friend has already forgotten about me.

Noah: That’s not true! I mean...

Dahlia: I guess, it’s better if I’m going home before someone worries about me. Lejla doesn’t know about our training after all. Thanks again for everything, you truly are a good teacher. Can we train again soon?

Noah: Of course. I’ll accompany you on your way home, you’ve fainted after all and I want to make sure that you’ll arrive in perfect health. But you have to talk to Lejla about everything.

Dahlia: Thanks I appreciate your concern. I still feel a bit dizzy though, a company on my way home would be a good idea. Tonight I’ll try to talk to her, I know that she has to know about my grandfather.

Noah went to the kitchen to prepare a hot chocolate for Dahlia until he heard a quiet rustling noise. Dahlia put herself upright and looked around her, confused about the different surroundings.

Dahlia: W-what happened?

Noah appeared when he heard her voice in the doorway.

Noah: You’ve fainted after our training. I thought a hot chocolate would give you some energy right now.

Dahlia: A hot chocolate would be nice, thank you. But where are we?

Noah arrived, placed a white cup in front of Dahlia and sat down next to her. A cinnamon stick stuck out of the steaming cup.

Noah: At my family’s place. Since my mother lives in Sulani I’m looking out for this place on her behalf since my grandparents died.

Dahlia: Sulani you say? Have you also lived there with your mother?

Noah: Of course, but for studying at Britechester I left Sulani.

Dahlia: Oh, my cousin is also studying there! Paige Cooper is her name.

Noah: I don’t have any courses with her but this name sounds familiar... I’m sorry that you’ve fainted.

Dahlia: Why are you sorry? It’s my body and my fault after all. But I was so excited and finally wanted to use my full potential. Thanks again for the hot chocolate though.

Dahlia blushed and took a sip of hot chocolate carefully from the white cup.

Noah: You’re welcome, I’m glad to be of help. You seemed a bit surprised when I’ve mentioned Sulani by the way.

Dahlia placed the cup on the table in front of her.

Dahlia: A good friend of mine moved to Sulani years ago. I wonder what he’s up to these days...

“Pooh” on a rainy day in Sulani

Little Noah: Dahlia... We can’t be friends anymore.

Noah looked to Dahlia, there was a look of hopelessness in his eyes. She looked surprised about his sudden statement.

Little Dahlia: What? Why? Did I do anything wrong?

Little Noah: What? No, of course not!

Little Dahlia: So, why we can’t be friends then?

Little Noah: My mom and I are leaving Willow Creek tomorrow.

Little Dahlia: Oh... Where will you live?

Little Noah: In Sulani.

Little Dahlia: Will you ever return?

Little Noah: Maybe I’ll return when I’m grown up and can live on my own. But maybe you won’t recognize me... Or maybe you’ll forget me until then.

Noah tried to leave but Dahlia hugged him from behind.

Little Dahlia: I won’t stop being your friend just because I won’t be able to meet you again. So, don’t dare to forget about me.

Noah smiled softly.

Little Noah: I won’t, promise.

Little Dahlia: And if I should somehow forget about you, I’m sure you’ll make me remember again.

Little Noah: Okay, if that happens for real, I’ll make sure that you’ll remember me.

Noah: I should’ve known that your body couldn’t be used to using magic and would get exhausted easily. You can’t get from almost zero powers to a true witch by a day. At least you’re still breathing and your heart is beating, you almost gave me a heart attack out there. You also didn’t sleep well last night, did you? You must be really stressed by everything.

Noah lay Dahlia gently down on the sofa and sat down next to her on the ground, lost in thoughts.

Noah: But welcome to my family’s place. I couldn’t have foreseen you being with me in this house, especially under these circumstances. Maybe I should’ve brought you to the hospital instead. I don’t know why I brought you here...

Dahlia: Pooh...

Noah: That old nickname...

Noah looked surprised and went silent for a second, hoping that Dahlia would still be asleep.

Noah: Seeing you using magic today remembered me about our first meeting on our secret place. Your eyes were filled with life and happiness. To me you really were like a ray of sunshine after a storm.

His voice was just a whisper so she couldn’t hear him even if she would wake up. 

Noah: You look so peaceful when you’re sleeping. But when you wake up you’ll need some energy. I guess, I’ll make a hot chocolate for you. Sleep well, Dahlia.

Little Dahlia: Feeling better now?

Little Noah: Yeah, there’s nothing like looking at the open sky to calm down.

Little Dahlia: Compared to the sky we’re just little bugs.

Little Noah: Maybe so are our problems for the universe... Hey, what kind of insect would I be?

Little Dahlia: A bumblebee!

Little Noah: Do you mean like a chubby bee?

Little Dahlia: Bumblebees aren’t chubby! And I like them more than bees because they seem calmer and nicer to be around. Bees seem always to be busy with collecting nectar... What kind of insect would I be?

Little Noah: A butterfly.

Noah pointed his finger to a butterfly which was flying above them.

Little Noah: Like that one!

Little Dahlia: A butterfly? But why?

Little Noah: I’m happier when I see butterflies and spending time with you also made me really happy today.

Little Dahlia: If you’re feeling better now, I’m really glad. We should totally meet again and play together!

Little Noah: Yeah, this place could be our secret place where we can hide for anything... Tomorrow I’ll be here again at the same time.

Little Dahlia: Our secret place, that sounds great... I’ll be happy to see you tomorrow, Pooh.

Little Noah: Me too, Dahlia.
