The near-constant rain that Forks was known for had set in once again. Jessica wouldn’t consider it proper rain, but it was definitely a drizzle. She wasn’t sure how long it would be until it stopped, but she wasn’t fazed. She was used to it, and it made walking down the street much more interesting. She began to hum ‘Singing in the Rain’ to herself (for what reason, she wasn’t quite sure), then started singing aloud. After a line, she realised that she wasn’t singing quite as softly as she’d thought, and had attracted the gaze of a passerby. Her words trailed off into silence as an almost sheepish smile graced her lips. “Uh, sorry?”
Kate had figured it was time to expand her wardrobe a little and go shopping. She wasn’t a big fan of it, because it always took a lot of time and she wasn’t able to speed it up because there were always people around, who had no idea the supernatural world existed. She was going to the mall when she noticed a girl walking in front of her and humming a song. It wasn’t long until she broke into a song. “No, it’s all right. I liked it,” she offered her a warm smile. “You have a nice voice, by the way!”
