I didn't even know that this website still existed.

I like that it does.

I'd be lying if I said I haven't looked through my past posts from YEARS ago and also looked through a couple of my girlfriends' old posts to see what tomfoolery I can dig up and cringe about.

It is absolutely wild to see how much times have changed. How much my own thoughts have changed too... Its a little scary to think I would ever have been that naive but humbling to know how far I've come. I turn 30 this year, and excitement would be an understatement.

For anyone who's still tuning in, just know I am at the literal height of my life and am in my soft girl era.

All I want to do is cultivate financial and mental wellness, emotional awareness, deeper and more meaningful relationships - and doing everything with well meaning intention. There's nothing I'm incapable of and everything I want is within reach.

Anytime I've been accused of being paranoid, I was always right. It's crazy how people would rather you question your sanity and doubt yourself, than tell the truth and be honest.

Recently, God has literally removed everything from my life that was distracting me and has forced me to focus on the bigger picture... my future and the opportunities I'm surrounded by. He knew my energy was being misplaced.

I’m at that age now where I only want to associate myself with grown people and grown situations. People who play mind games, attention seek, guilt trip or other manipulative things need to stay clear away from me. I don’t care about social or financial statuses, or other irrelevant attributes, I seriously couldn’t give a shit, as long as your mentality is grown, we can vibe.

Being able to admit when you’re wrong is such an important life skill. You have to always have some distance between yourself and your beliefs and ideologies, you have to have space for doubt, for learning, for new perspectives. When we get so close to something that we fail to see the things around it, behind it, after it, before it, that’s when ignorance and stubbornness creeps in, that’s when we start bringing pain to ourselves and those around us.
