people are OBSESSED with katsuki and midoriya being closer friends than they actually are it's HILARIOUS to me like the amount of times i've seen people try to bullshit off KATSUKI?!?!?!? HAVING A CRUSH ON HIM!??!?!?? or that they're like platonic soulmates or some shit like it's BIZARRE truly i don't understand the obsession. like katsuki doesn't Fucking Like Him. like at all!?!? and this isn't like a. idk a playful rivalry type situation despite how hard they're trying to push that these days it's literally like they grew up on the same street so they ended up hanging out just cos they were the only kids around and katsuki didn't fucking like him so he bullied him and fur whatever reason midoriya thought he was very cool and still his friend cos midoriya was a child and they were close which totally makes them friends and it just resulted in this fucked up mind game where katsuki is pulling his hair out trying to get this kid to leave him the fuck alone and midoriya is actively destroying himself by being around him, but he still thinks he's cool and they're still close which makes them friends right totally!!!! and midoriya also rightfully isn't willing to give up his dream just cos it's the same one katsuki has so now they're at their new school and they sit next to each other which means they're still close and definitely still friends absolutely 100% and now they're both insane and katsuki thinks midoriya breathing is a threat to his precious ego and midoriya is unable to detach his idea of "winning" from katsuki so he starts mimicking him and it's just like wow. you guys think this is good? you think this.... this is normal? and good? you like this? crazy. very bizarre. anyway in my opinion sometimes the friends you were forced to have as a child because you live near each other are NOT the most important people in your life
