Birthday Surprise!

(sorry I’ve been inactive, life got busy and every weekend I tell myself I’ll take more photos but something else happens instead. I’ll keep trying!)

I would love to find out where you got this bakery stuff and how you pose them without the stand!!! I wanna buy some more nendoroids (only have one rn and another is on its way to be shipped to me) and be able to pose them doing certain things it looks so fun!

The bakery stuff is all from two calico critters/sylvanian family sets. As for the posing, I either need to balance their arms and/or gigantic heads against something or I just take the back part of the stand without the base and bend it to prop them up, then take a picture from an angle where you can’t see it. I only have these two nendoroids so I imagine all of this might be sliiiightly easier with ones that have normal shoes instead of skates!

Everything is so cute and tiny!! I love it but oh my god is the cake shop stuff ever tiny and fussy and Difficult not to knock over while arranging everything. I’m genuinely impressed by any actual child that has the patience to play with it.

Omg, what a fantastic name! I’m so excited anyone thinks of my AU irl, and so excited that a place with a name like that exists! I’ve just been staring at this reply for so long trying to think of how to express how happy I am that this exists lol

Okay I have very very important question: how did you get Yuuri's glasses to stay in his face when his hair is swept back?? Am I the only person having this struggle with my Yuuri? ;~;

I struggled A LOT with this and it took a long time. I used itty bits of silicone earplugs on the bridge of the nose and scraped the visible parts off with a toothpick. And I had to redo it over and over again because they kept popping off. Having his hand on them helped a lot... I wish I had a magic secret to use/pass on!

Victor will get katsudon eventually, but Yuuri can’t resist living his dream of feeding Victor things he’s made.

A convo that's probably happened: "Victor, take that apron off. It's embarrassing!" Option A: "Oh, asking me to strip, are you? *wink*" Option B: "So you're saying you dont think it's true?" "No! I mean yes! I meanーjustー*exasperated and flustered sigh*"

Oh, absolutely! I love this because both options are just as likely to have occurred and either way I imagine it ending with Yuuri just “begrudgingly” accepting that the apron is there to stay.

RE: Pair skate aprons! Can you use thin cotton or paper or something? If it's for a one time prop thing x.x

Cotton would definitely be easier to work with and i can probably use fabric pens or something in that case... Good idea!

Victor’s not the type to give up so quickly, but he might want to rethink his approach a little bit. At least he didn’t let that apron go to waste! I want to paint pair skate aprons someday but it turns out canvas is pretty damn annoying to work with on such a small scale due to fraying (and me not wanting to hem a tiny, tiny apron). Anyone have any suggestions?
