âHowever tempting it may be to give you a piece of my mind for dragging Prince Dimitri to your level, somebody must set a positive example, and guide him back to the light.
"You!" Constance jabs her fan into Zero's chest. "You and I are going to have a conversation about your daughter and her- her manners."
What a dreadful ringing in his ears, just as Zero was nursing a headache- wait, no. That wasn't ringing. It was simply a very loud and annoying voice that felt some need to ruin his morning.
It took him a few seconds to recognise what the stranger was saying before he raised a lone eyebrow. "Manners?" Being his daughter, Nina was hardly well spoken but she was much easier to get along with than he was. Not exactly sunshine and roses, but despite their circumstances, her childhood had been decent enough to stop her becoming as jaded as he was. At least, so Zero hoped.
"What, you caught her people watching or something?" It was a weird habit, sure, and Zero could fully see why someone might be concerned by that behaviour, but manners. "She's not planning to rob you or anything. If she were, you'd never see her coming." It was almost impossible to spot the girl, so long as she didn't have her mind on boys. "I'm joking." Not.
Groaning, Zero placed his head back in his hands, rubbing at his temples. Too much socialisation. "Look, she's harmless. There's nothing to talk about so put a sock in it and fuck off."
Iâll stop being a coward. I wrote some bias posts 8 months ago but theyâre very outdated, and all over the place so have a new one. Also, please understand that if your muse isnât there, friends + development > bias.
