May I present Hello Kitty in chicken costume! I found this pattern during my frequent searchs on etsy. I’m so impressed with how well the pattern was written and the finished product was exactly as shown in the original pattern. I chose to buy the 12 chinese zodiac collection but I can totally see myself making other costumes - Totoro comes to mind :D You can find the hello kitty patterns I used from Etsy here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/furinn I used Aunt Lydias fashion 3 crochet thread in white, beige and red. The eyes and nose are cut out of felt peices which the pattern provides the template for. My only change to the pattern was the bow. Instead of using felt, I crocheted 3 red circles to match the template size then sewed them together into a bow then onto hello kitty's head.
