Now that Sakuya was on shore, he might as well explore a little bit. This was the first place he’d been to anyway. He didn’t really have any ideas how to do this whole pirate thing. Maybe he could get ideas from talking to people . And the best place for that would be the tavern. He’d let his crew do whatever they wished for the time being. He headed to the tavern and looked around a little, trying not to look as lost or confused as he felt.

 The tavern started turned their attention towards the newest guest and they started to talk amongst eachother more quietly now. The owner gave Ryouta a little nod, encouraging him to check up on them. He seemed a little intimidating, but Ryouta had dealt with rougher looking men. "Can I get you anything to drink?" He approached, but made sure he didn't get in his way.

[kawaraa]

*leaves a bag of beans with a note tied to it* 'It's late, but here!'

(wheezes because I didn’t see this earlier but I’ll be damned if I don’t take this opportunity for cute)"… Beans?" He smiled at the note and chuckled to himself. "It’s the thought that counts, after all…"

Isa nodded and grabbed her bag and put her books and other school supplies neatly inside it before smiling at  him. “Yeah, and if there’s anything extra we might need, might as well get it.”

He nodded and waited for her to gather her things before leading away to the cafeteria to pick up the last few things they needed. He got water and juice, but let the other decide if they needed anything more.

"There’re not really any secrets dear… I am just working hard you know. Don’t worry haha~ I don’t see you as a threat." Ouch.

Hard working. He really admired that advice and was certain it was something he could follow. He'd have to work just as hard and wondered if he might let him follow his shadow a little while. Ryouta caught the last comment and knew he'd have to prove himself. Yuuya was confident and he'd have to be too, but he didn't intend to challenge him in any way. "I'm sure... I hope you don't mind if I try and watch you for a little while?"

{Open RP} Pirate's bounty

Pirating was something that could definitely turn a profit. That was how Sakuya’s father had accumulated all his wealth. It was as he turned of age that his father decided he should go out and make his own profit from pirating. He didn’t get a say, but the stories he’d heard of his father being such an amazing and ruthless pirate inspired him. In fact that’s how he found and married his mother, by killing the man she was with and taking her away. That wasn’t what he wanted for himself, of course, but the stories of his father excited him.

He had been given a ship and a small crew and he was meant to build that up himself. He had managed to make it to the first city and he wasn’t sure what to expect. He hadn’t found any ships to try and plunder, but already they were relaxing at a city. Well, more like a port town. He wondered what might happen from now on.

Ryouta was waiting on several guests and could hear the rumours spreading among the tavern about the arrival of a particular ship. As he served drinks and made small talk with a few of the loud and rowdy patrons, the topic kept coming up in whispers around him. He wondered if he could get more out of some of the drunken men.

Did he really have time for someone like him and ask nothing in return? "Ah..." It was almost a little overwhelming. "Well, you don't have to tell me all your secrets." Ryouta spoke up with a nervous smile remaining on his lips.
