OH NOOOOOO I’m sorry hon I dont...think I ship anyone in DR? I mean Gundham and Sonia are cute! But honestly DR is So Much to process at any given moment I find it hard to think about those kinds of things! i was playing DR2 in one of the most stressful and upsetting periods of the last 3 years of my life so between the misery of my daily existence and the prevailing despair of the game, I spent most of my playtime being made physically ill by all the bad feelings, but unable to stop because i wanted to know what happened! So i didnt really have the mental energy to spare on like, any shipping that wasn't directed alluded too in canon.

lol i think my answer to this will always be the Summer of Parapines, a bizarre wormhole that consumed our lives for a few months and spit us out the other side with a few lasting friendships but otherwise totally disoriented and confused

Yuuya had left a little coupon on Sakuya's pillow that night, so he was hoping for a nice breakfast in bed next day! He was curious if Sakuya could make something interesting if he really tried.

Sakuya spotted the coupon and just stared at it for a long moment. He had forgotten about those. Well, there was never a deadline on them so he would honor them whenever. He read it over and realized he had to do research. That would be fun. He wasn’t completely incompetent, he was good at instructions and a perfectionist at times, so he was sure he could manage that.

He was grateful that Yuuya slept so late. That just meant that he could go ahead and get started without worrying about him waking up in the process. He decided to do pancakes, with berries, scrambled substitute egg and potatoes. That felt like a lot, but he might as well go all out with it. And he was meticulous and careful and nothing burned. He was sure Yuuya would be surprised and grateful. And praise him. Yes, praise was always appreciated. So it was around 10 in the morning when he finally had everything done, coffee and juice included, and carefully, very carefully, brought it to Yuuya.

"Sakuya..?" The fantail entered the hospital room where Sakuya was sitting in his bed, closing the door behind him before listening to Sakuya's usual demands that he left him alone. Considering the circumstances, maybe Sakuya wanted him there..?

Sakuya hated this. He always thought he was better than this. His immune system was strong, made sure of through medication, because they didn’t want him to have his father’s immune system. So he had always taken good care of his health. And yet..... Somehow this happened. He had somehow contracted some sort of fatal disease. There was nothing that could be done. It could be slowed, but not cured. So now he had a finite amount of time to live, a deadline. And it was eating him up inside. What was he to do besides wallow in his depression.

He lived in the hospital now, and he didn’t really get visitors. People from school had visited a few times, the ones he had considered his friends. But, he understood that if they didn’t want to see him like this or keep coming to visit him. He was alright with that. It had only been a couple of months since he was diagnosed, after all. He couldn’t let himself just... lose hope. Though he was feeling rather defeated.

When someone entered the room, he figured it would be a nurse or one of the ones who visited him. But that voice. He looked up and frowned a bit. Of course he would have found out about this. How could he not? If his school friends knew, they probably told him. “..... Sakazaki. What do you want?” He didn’t want to hear his pity.

“I was really adventurous. Climbing everything and jumping off and hurting myself before I could properly use my wings. I always gave my grandmother heart attacks. I guess adventuring got the best of me huh?” Haha.... I lost 3 limbs.

♥ : Any crushes growing up?

“Not really. It was a pretty small community and everyone was more like family. So I spent more time being like a sister to everyone than anything.” Now, others having crushes on her, that’s a different story.

“Oh, definitely! We were all really close in my village. So when I was growing up, we all grew up together and it’s natural to be friends.”
