IT: Chapter Two needs huge trigger warnings
if you're planning to go see IT, please take the following into account:
- flashing lights. so many. and no warnings for them.
- homophobic hate crimes. and i don't just mean 'comments and slurs'. homophobic VIOLENCE. and it's pretty extreme.
- suicide. no warning for that one either
- blood. there's so much blood.
please add on if anyone can think of anything else
(also to be clear, i very much enjoyed the movie, but it really needs a disclaimer at the start)
If you need a blood trigger warning, you shouldn't be watching this movie in the first place. Sorry not sorry
BIG TRIGGER WARNING FOR IT: CHAPTER TWO
Just got back from watching the film, no spoilers, (this is the OPENING SCENE of the movie) but the film includes a GRAPHIC homophobic hate crime, very similar to what actually happened to a gay couple JUST THIS YEAR in June. Slurs are used and the assault is all on screen, ending in one if the character's death. Please be prepared if you intend to watch It: Chapter Two, I was not aware and am very upset with the movie as these characters were "insignificant" to the plot anyway, and had NOTHING to do with the movie besides pointing out that people were homophobic in the 80's. (duh)
It was literally the first scene in the book. Yes, they should have been more relevant to the plot, but it wasn't totally out of the blue. It happened in the book.
I first read this as “proof that cats are lizards” and I was very confused about how these were lizard poses.
full offense but like…. ladies and gentlemen…. this is mambo number 5

Y'all this old lady on Facebook got angry at me so she threatened to call my job and report my “rude” behavior to my boss. So she got my information from my page
SHE GONNA TRY TO CALL MR.KRABS ON ME YALL
SHE GONNA TRY TO CONTACT BIKINI BOTTOM
She is going to call a phone number and ask, “Is this the Krusty Krab?”
And the person who answered the phone will have a choice to make.
