Expectations | Reality Love, Simon (2018) | The Edge of Seventeen (2016)
Apparently some people have been saying that movies which, “get woke, get broke,” (as in don’t make money). So I’m just gonna leave these here…
Pretty sure these movies didn’t go broke.
every lesbian talking to every ego man. tig thank u for ur service
I’m not out to my parents yet and every time they say “you’ll find a nice boy someday” in my head I look directly into the camera and wink like I’m on the gay sitcom I deserve.
wait, this isn’t how robin came out?
When I make a gay joke and someone asks if I’m Lgbt
Gay culture is panicking when you’re told to “come out” only to realize your mom means of the car.
RePosting this as we enter Pride Month(s)
Pride is something I struggle with to some degree even having come out of the closet. There are days when it’s quite clear that unless I “present” as Trans NonBinary I will not be seen as such. Some days nobody could stop me from “presenting,” other days it’s an honest chore, and there have been long stretches where I’m too busy disentangling myself from my own dysphoria to grasp what’s going on at all. So accept this friendly reminder:
You deserve to feel proud, year round, no matter what.
If you’re not ready to march - that’s fine.
If you haven’t come out - that’s fine.
If you’re too broke to go to events - that’s fine.
If you’re just not feeling it - that’s fine too.
Regardless of the feelings that can complicate things, I’m happy you’re here. I take pride in simply knowing people like you. That’s enough. You’re enough! <3
It will get better.
Part 2 Of my short comic :)
straight people don’t get it
I watched the movie Love, Simon last night and I sobbed at the scene where he is just breaking down over being outed, and I don’t think straight people get just how horrible that can be for someone.
whether someone has an accepting family, or one that will punish them for who they love, you should never NEVER out someone against their will.
outing someone is a huge deal. Hell, coming out on your own is a huge deal. You have no right to take that away from someone. You have no right to out a person before they are ready.
anyways, this has been a message for The Straights™️
Part 1 of a short comic about finding out about gender and sexuality :)

~love reads like a bad biography, all the names are changed to protect the innocent~
