1 Peter 4:8 (HCSB) Above all, maintain an intense love for each other, since love covers a multitude of sins.
sometimes we forget to be kind, to others and to ourselves.
My whole hope is in Your exceeding great mercy and that alone. Give what you command and command what you will..
St Augustine (via tblaberge)
Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails. Proverbs 19:21
Forgiveness = Freedom You don't have to be the person you've always been.

Don’t believe the devil..
Let us note well the lesson which is here shown to all believers: namely, when we would wish to walk properly, we must not be as it were only before men, our eyes must not be focused only on them; but we must contemplate the heavenly Judge, and we must know that it is to Him that we have to answer and render account.
John Calvin (via craigtowens)
We should, as Christians, be careful of putting people onto pedastools. There are so many amazing Christian leaders out there, and they should most definitely be role models for us. But as they are human, they have sins and flaws and struggles. Being a Christian does not make you perfect. If we look to Christ as being our only perfect, spotless, role model then maybe we can be more willing to forgive when we do see our Christian brothers and sisters mess up. No one is without sin. It's how you handle your sin and how you confess it to God and repent that matters. Let us never forget all that God has forgiven and saved every one of us from.
Though I stumble, though I fall, You remain glorious
