I’m a huge fan of @cosmicdraghon and their art, so when I saw commissions were open I had to get one of my favourite scenes from my AO3 fanfic, ‘if you want a lover’, drawn! And hoooollyy crap, did cosmicdragon deliver and more 🤩

With Twilight in the hospital, Sylvia decides it's finally time to change personnel for operation Strix. She taps Nightfall to don a disguise and play the role of Loid Forger until Twilight is fit for duty.

Swap them in the hospital; send Twilight to an undisclosed location; "Loid Forger" goes home to finish his recuperation.

At Nightfall's day job, Fiona is replaced by an even more junior agent (male) who needs the practice.

Yor realizes that Loid isn't acting like himself but chalks it up to his ongoing recovery.

Anya immediately knows what's going on but stays quiet because Nightfall keeps thinking about The Mission(TM).

Bond freaks out, and Anya tries to comfort him with mixed success. Nightfall thinks about drugging the dog until Bond miraculously saves her life.

Nightfall initially thinks she had a chance to sabotage TwiYor but is overwhelmed by Yor's strength and compassion, the only things that save Nightfall from her own rapidly developing ulcer. When Twilight eventually returns, she's confused because she longs to leave Operation Strix but grieves the loss of her wife.
