Lose 10+ kgs in 4 Weeks
Hey y'all! I haven’t posted on here in such a long time. I’ve been super super busy. I moved from New England down to Tennessee after Christmas and I’m just now starting to feel settled! I hope you’ve all been making great progress with your fitness 💪🏻 Here’s my updated before/after picture. The left is from about 3 years ago, the right I took last night 😇 anything is possible when you truly commit.
Think. Plan. Execute. I saw this on reddit and felt so inspired.
Because I need inspiration as I jump back in and push to lose the next 30. The difference between these two pictures is a lot more than 40 pounds. I’ve found myself. I’ve learned that food really does impact your mood and the way you feel about yourself. This road is long and frustrating but so worth it.
Here are some progress pictures. I went from 111kg to being roughly where I am right now in 8-9 months. The after picture is me now on a bulk at 76kg :)
It’s been a long journey. And I absolutely hate seeing the first face picture because I know how fake that smile is and how miserable I was. I tried to cover up my insecurities with make up, but it only made things worse.
I love the after face picture because I only have mascara on. Basically no make up and definitely a lot happier (but still a bit shy 🙈). I never thought I would ever be able to take a picture like that or see my tummy that small again either.
I still have a long way to go before I will be completely happy and comfortable in my own skin, but I’ve made a damn good start and am forever thankful for being introduced to powerlifting and weight training in general. It has honestly changed my life for the better.
Even more progress to come! I can’t wait to be exactly where I want to be. Comfortable and confident in my own skin…and preferably naked 😂👌🏼
#MotivationMonday Re-Posting this as a reminder of my 2016 accomplishments. For those embarking or continuing on your health journey keep in mind that:
🔹Your “after” is not better than your “before”. You are worthy in both. 🔹You don’t need anyone’s approval to feel beautiful. 🔹Comparison is the thief of joy. 🔹Trust the process. 🔹You are capable of more than you give yourself credit for. 🔹Your physical body can’t change your state of being. 🔹You are more than just a body. 🔹It’s okay to be flexible. 🔹The way that you think about yourself truly impacts your actions. 🔹You don’t have to prove anything to anyone. Do this for yourself!
Harnaam Kaur first started growing facial hair at the age of 11. She was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome, a condition that causes a hormone imbalance in women.
“I decided to keep my beard and step forward against society’s expectations of what a woman should look like,” Kaur said. “Today I am happy living as a young beautiful bearded woman. I have realized that this body is mine, I own it, I do not have any other body to live in so I may as well love it unconditionally"
Just a little transformation pic to get me motivated for tomorrow.
