fun fact: yudai (akechi variant) is the performance leader of the group, is knowledgeable with cafés and stores in general where you can eat good food and beverages (he is obsessed with caffeine), is quite busy with television side quests and befriending other figures, and very athletic with crazy stamina. when he was a trainee in a korean survival show, he was often misunderstood and portrayed as someone selfish and inconsiderate, and received a lot of hate from the general public. some still have that perception of him until now, but he's very well-loved in japan and his fans are protective of him.

meanwhile fuma (akiren variant) is the sub-leader of the group, is a regular on morning shows, is also very athletic who does acrobatics with more visible muscle structure than yudai, likes staying indoors to play games, and strictly prefers to keep his worries to himself. he became a trainee due to his passion for kpop since he was a teen, but the more years passed and he still remained a trainee and no longer in the preferable age bracket for debut, he couldn't help but feel discouraged until he participated in a japanese survival show that made him debut with yudai as the last member in the lineup.

their duo is to obsess for because both of them are the eldest in the group (the only members born in the '90s) who clearly went through a lot just to debut. despite fuma having the leader role (so he's usually the one taking care of the group), fans often notice he acts like he wants to be pampered whenever he's with yudai, and is generally endeared by him and vice versa. furthermore, fuma has confessed directly to yudai when they debuted he had been hoping to debut with him and it left a big impression on yudai.

recently, fans think yudai looks best with brown hair and fuma wearing glasses. from that alone, i thought of them as akshak but after going into deeper with their personalities? they have become my irl akshak i fear

UPDATE 6/7: repurposed my &team/kpop acc! i currently go by @/makispaws there!

my x/twt got suspended due to "multiple or repeat violations" for some reason. it's frustrating when x/twt does this without stating in detail the actions i did to warrant the suspension, and just stating in their email that "my account will no longer be restored and the case is closed".

i've sent two petitions now. only the first one received a response, but with the same statements still. if i still can't recover my account after a week, i've decided i won't be in x/twt for a while. i've never liked the app anyway, but i can't help but mourn for the fandom interactions and works i will miss there. however, i will continue posting my artworks here and insta!
