This shit took for ever (aka six hours) to make and I’m not even done yet! It’s a work in progress, so I don’t forget where all the characters in my novel live lol. The struggle is real TwT

I just thought I’d share this, because I really need other people’s opinions about the concept and stuff ( I’m not delusional, I have like one follower lol, but even one opinion would help!)

So yeah… What do we think! Does it suit a queer, political fantasy novel with a morally grey princess and sarcastic ass love interest?

The hell?

I have been insulted by my English exam...

So, for context:

English is not my native languag, but I've been taking English classes in school for like five years now. This year's final English exam is a book project. We have to read a book, which we had to choose from a list my teacher gave us, and make a portfolio on it. I chose 1984 by George Orwell.

Now for the portfolio, we have to summarise each chapter, awnser question about it and write down three new or interesting words, phrases and idioms and translate/ define them.

In the version of 1984 my teacher got me, there are words marked in each chapter, those are the words I am supposed to choose from for the last task. In chapter four there were exactly four words highlighted.

One of them was "shelf" and since I didn't want to explain the word "sweat", I have to define what a shelf is...

I have been writing and reading in English in my free time nearly fluently, for about three years now ... and I have to explain what a shelf is for my final exam...

They could not find a better word in 1984, a classic from the mid 20th century about mass surveillance, to describe then "shelf".

I don't know if I should be offended or amused... Probably both.

So… quick update!

The whole thing turned out to be 54 pages long, of which I vomited out the majority in a span of 6hrs nonstop writing.

My best friend and I mentioned the shelf thing to our teacher and she laughed.

But I got an A+ so it was worth it… wasn’t it?

In hindsight sight it made the situation of my final exam less stressful.

Nerd con

I went to a nerd con today with some of my friends and it was amazing!

Most people were in Cosplays and it ranged from classics like Wizards and stuff like that to Gru (Minion Gru obvi) in the fairy outfit.

On top of that there were just so many amazing things to look at! Books, merch, daggers, crowns, jewellery, bookmarks, little 3D printed dragons, life sized Gojo, etc.

We had so much fun, even tho the prices were a bit ridiculous.

I bought a crown, because I'm a pretty princess ✨🎀 (note the sarcasm) and a ring, that I thought my girlfriend would like ✨

Funny story tho:

We had just entered the con, and we're like ten meters in when a little girl came up to us and asked for a picture with my friend, who was in her cosplay. The last time that happend, someone thought that she was the adult version of said cosplay... she was thirteen.

Anyway! Here's my fit!

It's nothing special but I liked it. You can't really see it but I had like a ton of little silver rings in my hair to match the jewellery ✨

Yeah, that was pretty much it ✨

My girlfriend drew us as cartoon characters and it turned out so adorable! She’s so precious and she did such an amazing job!🥰

(I’m the taller one in the skirt, and she’s the shorter one with the bag… she always complains about being short, but I think it’s cute (psst don’t tell her))

Can someone please explain to me why I thought it would be fun to take French class… Oh wait! I didn’t have a choice ✨

Anyway. Now I’m sitting here studying for a French test tomorrow, trying to cover an impossible amount of ground in the little time I have. And I’m not even kidding. This shit has final exam potential! But! Guess what!:

We have an actual French exam next week…

Are you kidding me? What otherworldly malicious entity has driven our teacher to such cruel and unusual punishment? Couldn’t she have waited for like the actual exam? But no… She’s been having us hold presentations in a language we barely speak just for funsies and now she makes us take a test, even tho the literal exam isn’t even a week away!

I feel targeted.

hey Cinderella boy fans there’s this new webtoon you might like called Change Your Story another BL with and enemies to lovers trope it’s an interesting take on it if you guys haven’t checked it out please do it has so much good potential

Edit: now that more chapters are out I can say it’s definitely living up to the potential especially with the whole concept of the strings of fate giving off this ominous vibe I don’t think it’s meant to be a good thing as the point of the story is changing your own fate or story as it is as the protagonist is trying to do.

and I understand there’s only a couple chapters out now but I hope more people talk about it I don’t see too many posts about it I understand there are the fans from the canvas version which I didn’t get a chance to read either but I hope more people talk about it soon on here

Rage bating my girlfriend ✨

So… My girlfriend and I read this webtoon (I started it because she recommended it), but she’s a few episodes ahead because she has a fast pass and I don’t. Anyway, today a new episode dropped and I read it pretty early. I just came back from practice and we were texting and she mentioned recreating one of the scenes from her new episode, which I obviously haven’t read, so I asked what she wanted to recreate, but she wouldn’t tell me! Which… the audacity!✨

Yeah well.. my result was to call her pet names she’s never heard me use, to try to get it out of her (which failed by the way… how? I would have given in in an instant!). I tried everything to get her to tell me, and was honestly a bit worried about annoying her to much… But she still won’t tell me! So I have to wait for another few weeks to find out! How am I supposed to survive this!
