"Excuse me, Miss. Are you new to the area? You appear to be visually different compared to the other citizens. If you are in any need of assistance I will be happy to provide it". The diminutive robot smiled warmly; his overall demeanor coming off as friendly and polite.

Clank's internal scanners revealed the female before him as android in nature---despite their organic-esque appearance. Her model was a concept he had not seen. This was the first time he had witnessed an android that resembled an organic as closely as she did. Without his scanners he surely would have been fooled.

However, in the end as a newly dubbed galactic ranger, Clank felt as if it were his duty to provide aid to those in need. Regardless of their background and spieces.

“I think you cut a little too much onion for this…”. Clank states in a slightly worried tone. Emphasis on 'a little'---there was WAY too much for the dish they were preparing. In an effort to highlight his spoken observation further, he directed a hand to the heaping pile of chopped onion situated atop the countertop. A pile that miraculously had not toppled over yet. ((kayxclankforever; I'll switch over later))

“Really? Well, that’d explain why my eyes are on fire right now,” Qwark said, blinking furiously at the leaning tower of onions, tears at the corners of his eyes. He paused halfway through slicing a group of carrots to squint at the cookbook near Clank. “I could’ve sworn it said ten cups of chopped onions. What am I supposed to do with all the rest?”

Reflexively, Clank moved to extract a handkerchief (embroidered with a pastel flower design) from the interior of his chest compartment. Despite the minor irritation present in his systems, the robot’s thoughtfulness towards others still rang true in the end. That and, the absence of tears clouding the Captain’s vision would decrease the odds of him making any further error in ingredient preparation.

He held the cloth up to Qwark; his other hand instinctively going to his chin as he pondered over this newfound dilemma presented to them.

“Hmm, a simple solution to this problem would be to refrigerate the excess amount of onions we do not require at this time so they could be implemented in future recipes”.

It was a logical solution, yes, and the easiest. However, it also meant that a certain organic he lived with would have to tolerate ingesting onion laced meals for a little while. From Clank’s point of view, there were hardly any concerning negatives in that regard. Aside from having to reevaluate the meals he had planned for the entire week. …And having to hear Ratchet whine a bit more than usual about clearing his plate of food; a trait his best friend unfortunately liked to remind him of. Especially when his plate involved something of the healthy variety (AKA vegetables).

Clank adjusted his position on the collapsable stool he stood upon and turned his attention towards the cookbook Qwark had been following. His vibrant green optics settled onto the recipe page for the soup they were in the process of preparing. The truth revealed itself in an instant. Just as I thought.

“This particular recipe calls for only two cups of chopped onions—misinterpreting it as ten cups is an easy mistake to make when your vision is temporarily impaired”.

~Finally finished this drawing! I wasn’t really sure what to do with the background; so I left the final piece blank. Alas, for my first time ever drawing Sly I was really happy with how he came out! He looks quite slender and tall, and so I couldn’t resist trying a bit of a height difference piece.

Though of course, I have no idea how accurate this is, it’s just how tall I imagine Ratchet and Clank would be beside Sly Cooper. (From what I remember, Ratchet is actually quite average height but in comparison to Qwark ect, he is small.)

Anyway, I had a lot of fun! Though it’s been a while since I coloured so that was a bit difficult getting back into the swing of.

This took me ¾ days on Paint tool SAI.
