My dnd (read as: ‘drow’) fixation has only gotten worse. It has taken over my body like a parasite.

I’ve been using my free time during my summer break to do commissions and play Baldur’s Gate 3

Or, what I’ve come to call this save Gavosh’s Gate since I’m using mods to make the entire party the Gavosh kids. It’s quite fun for me and me only since I like to roleplay and come up with stories in my head like a loser nerd

Context for said doodle: the kids got their butts handed to them after fighting the spider matriarch.

That fight is always a doozy for me. I think to myself “ive done this before, this’ll be easy!” But then it’s not. :^

That’s the in game context, but why the random bath scene? Well for one, the player models always end up so dirty since I use a lot of cosmetic/armor mods, so I thought it was fitting but also because I wanted to do a little doodle about one of my Drow headcanons (I’m calling it a headcanon bc I don’t know if something like this is stated in previous sourcebooks or not)

The Underdark and Lolithite society is dangerous. Being alone usually isn’t a drow’s first choice since its safety in numbers against the wildlife of the Underdark. It’s also probably not the best idea to be any sort of vulnerable in general…so to mitigate this drow have shared bathhouses!

I like to believe that every house has their own that the family would use. You are most vulnerable when you are naked, so having other people around helps.

For this version of the Gavosh kids, I had them run away from home when they were younger, so they have all gotten used to doing pretty much everything together.
