Peyton: You mean the 2005 version? Because after seeing Rent Live this past winter, I really don't find the film to be quite as much of an affront as I once did :-p
Peyton: We can't let any musicals flop, unfortunately. Even if they're critically slammed, the fact that they're being made at all is important, so I think we should stick to it. And any excuse for a date with you, of course. I'm sure people see our public appearances as us showing off, but we ARE the best couple in Auradon, why shouldn't we? :-p
Peyton: Tom Hooper directed Les Mis, did they learn nothing from that? That movie didn't even have anyone but Samantha Barks and Aaron Tveit with musical talent! HUGH JACKMAN WAS ATROCIOUS IN IT!!!
Kaz: LOL OUCH! Well, that just goes to show adaptations of Rent are destined to suck. What a pity, what a sin. You wonder if our troupe could pull off the cursed play?
Kaz: I want to inspire and encourage the fine arts though, not CGI human faces on weird cat bodies! BUT I know you're right :( and I'd rather watch it with you than anyone else. We can start critiquing it when it gets too bad and that's great for the both of us. Oh, or we could make out to distract from the film! We could always do that too now, given our newfound couplehood lol just saying. And so what if the public thinks I'm showing off? I am. We're too good to contain!
Kaz: WHY DO PEOPLE KEEP CASTING HUGH JACKMAN IN SINGING ROLES, BABE? IT'LL KILL ME SOME DAY.
