Kerem Korkmaz + Outfit
↪Siry Wedding
thaliaxarslan:
Thalia had been saving up for this one big night out for the past few months–she was going to drink like a very rich woman. One night, several of those fancy wizarding cocktail bars, only specialty drinks. Normally, she would’ve tried to drag Dahlia with her on this kind of night, but she didn’t much feel like sharing the spotlight. So, three bars in, she still looked like a goddamn goddess, having touched up her makeup and fixed her hair with a few charms. The martini in her hand tasted, in all honesty, terrible, but it was exclusive and she was determined to feel the same. What was much more enjoyable was the arse on the man by the bar, decently near her little table she’d acquired. And the back of his hair… she could always appreciate a man who took care of himself. Her eyes lingered on his backside, mouth lingering on her drink as she forced down another sip. And then he turned, surprising her with his face. Now, no one had told her Kerem Korkmaz had one of the best arses she’d ever seen, and that was unfair.
“–Hey, Korkmaz,” she called out, small smirk lingering on her lips. She looked good, she knew it, and she was determined now to get his attention for a little while. “Nice to see you out of those robes. Join me for a drink?”
@kcrcmkorkmaz
While he was glad to be seeing his parents and his brother again, the pressure that came with it often became too much. He knew he wasn’t as good as his brother was, perhaps that was why they stuck him in a betrothal. And when the pressure became too much, Kerem often found himself in a bar or a pub, drinking until it felt a little more numb. Although he hadn’t expected to see another student, particularly not her. He would’ve probably just walked away, but as his eyes actually settled on her and took in her appearance, a slight, half-smile slowly grew on his lips. At least, until he forced it to go away. She looked good, he knew it, but he wasn’t going to give her that pleasure.
“One drink.” He insisted as he set his glass on the table, sliding on the seat in front of her. His head tilted slightly to the side, a small frown appearing as he took a small sip from his drink. “I wasn’t expecting to see you here.”

Thea watched him set his cup off to the side, her eyes following his hand for a moment before flicking back up to her face. “Doesn’t that describe the whole school?” She pointed out playfully, leaning back on one of her hands while taking a sip of her wine again. “I wouldn’t say it’s bad, I would say you just need another drink. They’re all adults, they can handle themselves… hopefully.”
A rare, small chuckle escaped at her comment. “Yeah, seems like it could describe anyone in this school. Perhaps the school motto should be changed to that.” An eyebrow raised as she mentioned more drinks, taking a glance at his empty cup. “Oh, I’m not worried about what happens to them. It’s just... curiosity, I guess. But I’ll agree I might need another drink.”
thaliaxarslan:
It wasn’t that Thalia had necessarily meant to pin Kerem to the wall. It was just that when she set her sights on someone, there was no telling what she might do. This, however, she truly hadn’t meant to do. All she’d done, when she saw him turning the corner, was try to get close to him–apparently too close, as she realized when she’d backed him into the wall. “I’m hardly on you, Kerem.” Her hand gently went to his tie, fixing it slightly against his chest. She’d caught the way his eyes glanced down at her lips, and she was smiling like the cat that caught the canary. “But if you insist, I’ll move.” Still, she paused–waiting for him to insist she move from him.
His eyes glanced down as she moved to fix his tie, but he didn’t move. Even if that’s what he wanted, he didn’t know how to get away from her. Every attempt he made only seemed to make her come back even stronger. Even ignoring her wasn’t cutting it, although... well, ignoring her wasn’t exactly easy. He hated to admit it, but she was a very pretty girl, and he often found his eyes drawn towards her. It took him a moment until he finally looked at her again, and another pause until he spoke. “Please, I would appreciate it.” He insisted.

He’d been trying to avoid her for a while now, but she always seemed to come back. It was getting annoying, really, not that it wasn’t to begin with. And the moment he turned a corner and saw her, Kerem quickly turned around, going back the way he came from, hoping she hadn’t seen him. But she clearly did, as he found himself against a wall soon enough, and her face was incredibly close. He opened his mouth to say something, but quickly closed it as his gaze trailed down to her lips. He couldn’t deny she was an attractive girl, and he hated that she was giving him such thoughts. And he tried really hard to deny all of it. “Get off me, Thalia.”

Thea took another drink from her cup, not expecting that the man was going to be rather talkative, at least not from what she was seeing so far. She was normally very into parties, and she was that night as well - but something about having it near the lake was just distracting. “Agreed.” She said with a small chuckle, seeing the other students splashing in the water. “You would think it would be too cold… but I guess drunk people have no sense of hypothermia.” She shrugged slightly, leaning back on the hand that wasn’t holding her drink.
Taking the last sip from his drink, Kerem set his cup aside, turning to look at the other. He’d seen her before, that much her could tell - at the library, perhaps? - but he couldn’t remember ever talking to her. But he wasn’t sober enough to care about that anymore. “Drunk and reckless, definitely not a good mix.” He commented before taking his attention back to the lake. “Is it bad all I can think about is how many will end up in the hospital wing for hypothermia?”
quevalerosa:
“Right? Honestly who raised them?” Nieves shook her head, purposely talking in third person about the individual, hoping they would take the hint. “Though it doesn’t surprise me that much, some people are just too entitled to notice the world doesn’t revolve around them.”
Kerem let out a small chuckle at her words. He wasn’t sure why he was still talking, when he’d just gotten annoyed about someone being noisy in the library, but the words just came out of his mouth naturally. “It’s not so surprising. At least half of this school is too entitled.”
totheaocean:
Frankly, Thea was glad that the Hufflepuffs won the game. The Gryffindors needed to be knocked down a few pegs sometimes. However, after drinking with the Hufflepuffs and laughing around with them, she decided to go sit by the black lake for a minute or two. She wandered over, before spotting somebody else, and she walked more towards them. “If I wanted entertainment, I’d go back over there.” She pointed out, eyes turning to the lake as she took another sip of her drink. “The lake is gorgeous at night, isn’t it?”
Her words made sense, and he stayed silent at them, only agreeing with a slow nod. Maybe she wouldn’t be as annoying as some other people would definitely be, he could let that slip. She did seem a lot calmer than everyone else at the party, he could make an effort to tolerate her. “It is.” Kerem agreed, eyes falling back to the lake. “Although it looks better when no one’s getting pushed in it.” He added after a moment, when he spotted some people splashing in the water not too far away.
tellmeabbottit:
Bryn blinked and his eyes fell down to the parchment he’d been doodling on, not even realizing that the scratching sound would be annoying to the others around him. “Oh.” He said softly, looking back up at the other after a second. “Sorry, I guess I got distracted.” He set his quill down, and immediately started to pack up his things. He’d gone to the library to try and get some work done, but it seemed like he wasn’t in a state where he could do that right now. “I’ll get out of your hair.”
Well, he got what he wanted, didn’t he? The other was leaving, and soon, it’d all go back to how quiet it should be. Yet as Kerem watched the other pack his stuff, he almost felt bad for the way he reacted. He really wasn’t doing anything bad, just slightly annoying. “You don’t have to go.” He sighed after a moment. “Just... try to be a little more discreet.”
safiaxavery:
“Do you… want to dance?” Safia looked over at Kerem, a sweet smile on her face. She didn’t know Kerem very well before they got betrothed, but she was determined to try to make it work. She wasn’t sure how she felt about the situation - she felt it was a duty to her family, but she had always dreamed of marrying someone she loved. She just hoped that Kerem could turn into that person. So here she was, having got him to take her to the party together, trying to get to know him better. ( @kcrcmkorkmaz )
Kerem had mostly stayed on the sides, slowly sipping on his drink. He’d never really been one for parties or social gatherings, but his team did win, he figured he could at least show up. And coming with her just seemed like the logical thing to do. If she was going to be the one he’d have to marry and spend the rest of his life with, he’d better try to make it work. And spending more time with her was a good way to start. Perhaps that was also why he agreed to dance, knowing well enough he would’ve turned down anyone else that asked. “Sure, if that could make you happy.” He said, giving her the smallest of smiles.
lorcanxdeath:
The first day of spring brought on warmer weather, a promise of new rebirth, but more importantly it was Lorcan’s birthday. He woke up early in the morning to go for a jog, wanting to enjoy the first moments of the day outside watching the sunrise and breathe in the fresh spring air. By midday he was in the Great Hall, enjoying a birthday pastry from one of the kitchen elves that took a fancy to him when his owl Cirilla dropped a package on the table. Inside where two gifts – one from his father, a vintage Romanian wine, and the other from his 3-year-old half-sister who attempted to draw a picture of the two of them wearing birthday hats. The silly drawing brought a smile to his face. “I think she got my likeness pretty spot on, don’t you think?” he asked the other, turning the stick figure drawing to show it off.
Kerem wasn’t entirely sure how to feel about the other. He knew his parents wouldn’t be proud if they knew he was even just talking to his cousin, and he hated betraying them like that, but... he was family. He was just trying to figure out where he stood with the other. His eyes were drawn to the stick figures Lorcan showed him, taking a moment before he said anything. “Don’t flatter yourself, you’re not that skinny.”
tellmeabbottit:
Brynmor needed to catch up on some homework. He’d been putting everything off for long enough, and he knew that his professors wouldn’t be lenient forever. Even if he wasn’t able to move on, the rest of the world was. However, despite his awareness that he truly had to get some work done, he found himself sitting in the corner of the library, doodling. A quill in hand, scratching against the parchment as he sketched, he leaned his chin on his other hand, completely zoned out. It took him a moment to realize that someone had spoken to him, but once he realized, he blinked out of his trance and looked up at the other. “What?”
His eyes wandered to the parchment in front of the other, not that he could actually see what was on it. All he knew was that his quill had been scratching on it for a while now, and it didn’t sound like he was actually writing. “Your quill. It’s getting annoying.” Kerem said, giving a small nod in direction of the quill. He knew this was a library, people were going to write, but it felt rather annoying now. “And I’m sure whatever you’re doing, you can do it somewhere else than here.”
tclkalot:
Lucinda needed a break from the common room, something about it today was annoying and unbearable - studying in there was a losing battle. She made her way through the candlelit hallways, the sound of her heels on the stone floor echoing through the halls. The raven haired girl gave a roll of her eyes at the sight of two students kissing in a dark corner, she bit her lip to stop her from commenting on it. Once in the Library, she made her way to her favourite table - the quiet one away from the others – but her strides slowed down as noticed another student there. With a sigh, she dropped her books on the table - in hopes to annoy him enough to move. Taking a seat, she took out her Quidditch History book, a fresh piece of parchment, a quill and some ink. Upon hearing his voice, her eyes darted over to him and she hesitated on replying. She pressed her lips into a thin line before sighing. “Erm, no sorry - I can’t.” She replied in an almost undetectable sarcastic manner. “But you’re welcome to leave if my presence makes you uncomfortable.”
He glared at the quill in her hand for a moment, knowing well enough now she was in her rights to make that sound. Although that didn’t change the fact it was disturbing his quiet time, but what could he do about it? “Then maybe you should consider sitting anywhere else.” He shot, trying to turn back to his own studies. Maybe the best he could do was to try to tune it out. Except she spoke again. “No, not uncomfortable. Incredibly annoyed, however, would be a better way to describe it.” He replied, looking back up at the other girl. Maybe he really should just go and find some other quiet place, but he was comfortable right where he was. Not to mention, he couldn’t help but to think he’d been there longer, and if anyone should leave, it was her.
Kerem wasn’t even at the game, the only reason he knew his team had won was through everyone that walked in the common room, screaming victory. After that, he couldn’t quite concentrate on his book, so he figured he might as well just show some house support and headed for the Black Lake. He was already many drinks in, sitting close to the water, when he realized someone had just arrived. He’d mostly kept to himself the whole night, so he was a little surprised to see someone coming over. “I only came here for the drinks. If you want entertainment, I’m sure my housemates would be more than happy to provide you with some.”

quevalerosa:
Nieves had been sitting across the table and as much as she tried to concentrate on her transfiguration assignment, this person just wouldn’t stop making n o i s e. First it was the usual, nail biting. Then fidgeting. Loud sighs. Humming. Nieves thought her head would explode and just when she opened her mouth to say something, Kerem beat her to it, verbalizing her own thoughts. She smirked, leaning in as she joined the conversation. “Yeah, tone it down a notch, will you?”
Kerem was staring at the other, waiting for them to either say something or just leave. Except, someone else spoke up, making him turn to the other girl. He was ready to just snap at that person too, although when he realized she was agreeing with him, he simply gave her a small nod, turning back to the annoyance. Perhaps the fact there were now two people complaining was enough to make the person pack their things. “Can’t believe how disrespectful some people are.” He muttered as he looked at Nieves again, giving her a brief smile.
thaliaxarslan:
Now, Thalia wasn’t often someone to study in the library–not one bit. She’d read up in her room, but this wasn’t truly studying. Kerem had found his way into the library, so she’d managed to make her way in, sitting down and opening up a copy of Witch Weekly she had on her while she waited for him to notice her. He didn’t move, so she moved to another tactic. Gently, she began humming along to one of the songs his cousin had played during Valentine’s, innocently looking down at her book as if she didn’t plan this. Sly smile came over her features as he finally spoke to her, and, giving him one glance over, she looked back down at her book, humming the song a little louder. He truly was handsome, rich… and giving her his attention. What more could she want?
When he realized just who it was, he left another sigh, shaking his head slightly. He knew it was useless to try and reason with her, so he just turned back to his assignment, trying to ignore her. But as she started humming louder, it became hard to do so, and he just ended up closing his books, quickly packing everything. “Can’t you just leave me alone?” He let out as he stood up, with the clear intention to distance himself from her as much as possible. And if he needed to just go back to his dorm to achieve that, then so be it. He didn’t want to deal with her now, so he turned around, hoping she’d leave him alone.
