Kiki was tempted to make a snide comment towards the girl after her remark. But oddly enough, she didn’t really have it in her to think up anything too impactful.
Instead, she settled on an eyeroll and proceeded to continue lifting up the pieces of rubble she was assigned to carry.
“Off to train with Lilith I presume?”
It was an oddly normal thing to say to her, but it certainly came out in a sassy way. Despite not having a lot of fight in her, she wasn’t about to let her day be the only one that was dampened, even slightly.
💜⊱ "When are you going to learn Crime doesn't pay?"
Amity said to the red demon smugly to her. Amity couldn't help but be a little snide throwing shade at the Emperor's stuge.
Yes. I've been training with Lilith. That's been great. Someone has to head out to the other islands to find artifacts hidden from the public. I'm just the witch to do it."
The nerve of this girl…
Fine. If it’s a confrontation she wanted, she would get much more than she bargained for.
“Oh please…”
Kiki scoffed as she angrily took her claws off the rope once the job was finished.
“You’re much more of a criminal that I’ll ever be…”
In Kiki’s own mind, she wasn’t entirely wrong. If Belos was still in charge, the Blight and her friends would likely be charged for much more than simply conspiring against the emperor. But alas, the powers have shifted. Still though, Kikimora considered her record to be… minimal…
