Idea: month long event with a calender of different prompts. Then draw your ocs (or the ocs of others with their permission) following the art prompts!

You can do those promts with any octonauts ocs you want.
But i wanna give this event a social aspect that really has artists boosting each other more!

My idea is that we choose around 3 of our favorite ocs and make a post showing their designs and GENERAL info about the oc. You can also include if youre okay with recieving fanart of said oc.
The goal here is that we go try our BEST to ask questions about these ocs in the artists inbox and etc! Engage as much as u can cuz ocs are hard to get seen and loved!

Fanart (with permission) IS SUPER encouraged but obviously im not gonna be keeping track of that myself. Just do NOT HARASS YOUR FAVORITE ARTISTS. DO NOT.
Do NOT HARASS someone by repeatedly asking them to draw your oc. The whole point is to boost OTHER PEOPLES OCS!!!!
If you receive fanart of your oc you can definitely make fanart of the other persons ocs, but it ID NOT EXPECTED OR REQUIRED.

Final note about this, try to send asks to ALL artists and not just more popular ones. My goal here is to foster COMMUNITY. And dont feel shy to make fanart even if you feel like your art " isnt good enough" because I PROMISE YOU that any artist would be incredibly touched to see their ocs getting love NO MATTER WHAT.

Has to be part of your octonauts aus, but not any canon characters.
Example of what NOT TO DO: Main octonauts, octo agents, CANON family members of the octonauts, and etc are NOT PART of this event and shouldnt be tagged under " octonauts oc august"
example of WHAT TO DO: ocs that are related to the octonauts but NOT CANON, villains, self inserts, or even ocs that simply exist in the world without a direct connection to the octonauts
So alot has happened on my moving situation, my friend, or now girlfriend heh, has to move out before her mum notices she's on hrt, we've been doing research and decided to buy a flat of sorts somewhere in scottland wich is around 50k
And given that I earn 10k a year I'm obviously not cutting it in less than a year. So we're literally desperate to the point of asking people if it's ok for her to move in with them for a couple years. The reason why her and not the both of us is cus her situation is more dire.
In the mean time (And I really don't wanna do this T_T) I've added a goal on my kofi for anyone who's able to donate. (I really hate asking for money.)
So the current plan is to just find someone who's cool with her staying for a couple years.
But yea, kind a shitty situation we're in but we'll chug through it.

As a result, we lost everything. My handmade crochet work was burned and destroyed, and now I have to raise money again to buy the basic supplies I need, including crochet hooks, yarn, and threads.

YESSS!!! I wana do something subnautica related in blender with the octonauts models but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to properly extract the cyclops model from the game, All the other models, vehicles and creatures, I can extract just fine but the cyclops is multiple models with multiple different origin points for thoes models so Its a pain to try and piece it together in blender. So the best I can do is one day recreate the subnautica vehicles and mabey creatures in the style of octonauts...? ╮(ᵕ—ᴗ—)╭
You may have noticed I've been slowing down with posts recently. The reason is I've teamed up with a friend and the two of us are looking for a place to move out away from are bigoted families, so I've sort of been prioritising that over my blender stuff.
I'll resume posting once we find a place to move to. Hope you all understand. ^^
