I'm sorry to bring you into negativity especially bc these ppl (multishippers) follow you, but i'm tired of how overpoliced we are especially regarding our negative feelings to I//H like damn we are chill, never engage in discourse, don't keep going into other folks accounts or fanarts being hostile, but just because SOME (bc this fandom has plenty of multishippers) dislike or say UH is better than I//H we are devil incarnate? Even worse when we point out how most of the harassment and hostility comes from that fandom and we are told to not generalize??? Or it's a "two sides are wrong" stuff when again WE ARE IN OUR LANE! Disliking or critizing I//H =/= harassing the shippers? Their fandom needs to start taking accountability bc UH is not the only one they keep disturbing.
We are really dammed if we do and dammed if we don't af!

I feel for the multishippers, truly, because MOST (like 99%) are literally just vibing and y’all get it. That is, the true purpose of shipping: to have fun.
However, shipping IS a spectrum. I suppose there are people who are incredibly detached from the characters AND love the attention and drama, so they make others look bad with their ignorance and slap on a “I ship everything” disclaimer to remove accountability. It’s unfortunate that it only takes 1 or 2 of them to ruin the mood…
All I can say is, whether you’re a multishipper, anti, OTPer, or casual observer, there’s NO reason to compare ships ESPECIALLY in public spaces/non-anti tags. You can enjoy and celebrate your favorite pairings without bashing other pairings/characters. It is absolutely possible. This is basic fandom etiquette.
I can completely relate to the grievances and critiques of the writing in Bleach, but we need to do better at keeping such negativity/venting in a safe and controlled space…to maintain inclusivity, peace, and good health in the fandom 🫶
Lastly, these are the rules I set for myself: your kink is not my kink and that’s okay (and vice versa), everyone’s opinions/headcanons are valid, and it’s perfectly okay to dislike something without a reason to validate your dislike of it.
Reminding myself of these things keeps me grounded and unaffected. 🧘♀️
