Scoffing when he looked away from her arm, she rolled her eyes. Typical of him to act as if nothing happened. He was always good at that. “I’m not going to rehab,” she said firmly and looked away from him. “I don’t know what you want from him. I just… I don’t even know what I want from me. I have no job, no nothing. This isn’t even my home anymore.” Chloe felt completely lost and scared. She knew that if Kellan were to ever kick her out, she would have nowhere to go. “I don’t have any family left.”
“You’ve got me.” Kellan mumbles lowly, knowing that it wasn’t much. It was probably not even what she wanted but it was all she had. “I know you don’t want to go to rehab, no one ever wants too but it might be the only thing we can do to help you quit.” He pauses for a second as he looks up at her. “But I can’t actually force you to do it. That’s ultimately something you have to decide. I’m here to support you...whatever your decision is.” He honestly doing his best to be a better person. Make things as good and easy as possible.
