Working on the drawing some more, I have been studying work by Alphonse Mucha lately try to more intentionally some art nouveau influences into my work, while still maintaining a personal touch.

My final glass project of the semester and most recent piece! "An Inkling Contraption" it is based on a piece of machinery made by a small civilization in my head. It is composed of a glass pitcher, sculpted glass boot and leaves, polymer clay grass and wildflowers, with wood base and supports, and a few found cups and noisy bits. It was quite a project, and I'm so happy with it. There are some refinements I plan to make. Inklings are small creatures who spend their days making subtleties occur. They are responsible for wind chimes chiming without wind and light bouncing and changing on surfaces. They spend their days hoping to add a richness to lives that can only be found if you slow down.

I have been working on pencil drawings in the meantime between assisting and blowing glass. I am excited to get ahold of some quality photos of my glass work from this semester soon, will post when I can. In the meantime have these!

Working on some concept art of @joseph-sylvester's current games main character. Whom I've dubbed Otter McOtterton. Not his name, but totally his name.

The last sprite I tried to do turned out to be way way way to work intensive for my skill level. The resolution of my game has been scaled back significantly. Here is the NEW player sprite!

Came up with this little guy the other night. He's not always this sad, but he's had a rough day. Luckily he's on his way to making friends.
