Celebrating the birthday of my amazing partner in this crazy life with our #quaranteam fam, @breezie.j and @danielle_onthedaily. I’ve been so grateful that on the night when we got the news of lockdown from Newsom we were with these babes. They live right down the street from us so we knew from the beginning that we’d be with them threw this. I can’t thank them enough for their support through this lockdown. I’m so glad to have them with us to workout, talk problems, and remind each other we can take this time to be still and be grateful with. “Honestly, one of our favorite parts about our wedding was reading our vows privately. We were originally going to read them in front of everyone for our ceremony but decided that we wanted to share our favorite memories with the three of us together vs. sharing our most personal thoughts with everyone. We were in the car on the way to dinner and still had to find somewhere to read our vows! The sun was already set behind the mountains and the light was so gorgeous so Kelly had the fun idea to have us jump in the back of the truck and read our vows together there! It was SO special. I don’t think I’ve ever cried so much. Reading our vows out loud really “sealed the deal” in terms of feeling like we were married!” - Hillary and Jess. This is @maiarawalsh one of my best mates. When I asked her what’s one thing she’s learned and has reflected on during this quarantime her reply was, “I have learned that all of the inner work I’ve done over the last 10+ years translated into me being grounded during moments of complete chaos. How much better I operate with sleep, and how resilient the human spirit is. This is my friend Shannon. Our friendship from the day we met surpassed the level of surface chat and dove right into soul. Two days ago @kelseywo (the doula) and @borntobelovedbirth (the midwife, pictured here) teamed up to help two of my good friends deliver their baby. It was an amazing fate that brought this team together, covid being one of the reasons, creating one of the most beautiful home birth stories I truly ever heard.
