Good morning friends! Did you know if you are not cleansed by the Word you are a dirty bird! Ephesians 5:26 illustrates for us that even as a virgin is being prepared and purified by washing and anointing through various means of aloes and perfumes for several months even up to 12 months for her husband before the marriage ceremony. So, the church is to be prepared for Christ everyday presenting herself Holy before the Lord through the cleansing by water (Baptism) and through the Word which is the reading of the Bible which cleanses the heart and illuminates the inside with truth and holiness. We are to renew our minds daily which will wash us free from all the impurities of this world which we live in. It’s through the Word that we remain faithful and betrothed and then married to only one man, the man Christ Jesus! As the Apostle Paul says in 2 Corinthians 11:2 I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
Let us all be fully submitted to Christ that there be no double mindedness in us!
Read the Word everyday to remain clean and pure so that the fragrances of the Lord become the very garments that you wear. In this,you will attract those that need healing and there your ministry will be.
Let us all be pleasing to the Lord today in every part of our Spirit, soul and body.
