Honestly this man saved my life. On a long drive home one night, at my lowest point at the time, Bohemian Rhapsody came on the radio. I downloaded the song to my phone because the lyrics had stuck with me especially the line "sometimes wish I'd never been born at all". I started listening and learning so much about this man, and somehow through music and learning about his life I realized that even though he was one of the most successful legends that ever lived he still had some of the same flaws as I did. I was fascinated with this man, a man that was so different from me, but at the same time we were very much the same. Its so silly, but I have a special connection with someone that died 5 years before I was ever born. We will never meet, I will never see him, I will never even be alive at the same time as my hero. But I truly think this person is one of my guardian angels, he saved me when I had no one else to guide me in the right direction. And even now, if I ever find myself feeling lonely or sad I turn to his music and it changes everything. No one will ever understand just how important a man I never even had the chance of knowing or meeting could mean the world to me. Thank you Freddie Mercury, thank you.
