The amount of people who seem to not know or choose to ignore the reason Amber wasn't working during Love Is Blind is due to the fact she suffered a work related injury prior to filming is shocking to me. I know they never state that in the show but her and Barnett have explained that in multiple interviews and on social media since it aired. Also Barnett has student debt too but Amber's is higher due to her dropping out after suffering from depression after her abortion and wasn't able to start paying it off yet.

the thing about the “love is blind” finale is that there is no good option, there are just two wacky options that are wacky in different ways. like, either you say “i do” and you end up married to someone you’ve only known for a few weeks, or you say you don’t and you just dragged all your friends and family out to a wedding even though you had no intention of actually getting married. it’s a farce either way. there is no good choice. i hope this show runs for a dozen seasons.
