rant about imvu chat rooms

what’s the deal with imvu devolving into a popularity contest? i miss the days when I could join a room and have actual conversations with people, and not be secluded in PUBLIC rooms because people choose to interact with their groupies.

like I joined a room and was ignored until their attention came my way and was poked fun at. and I don’t mind it, but why do people feel the need to criticize your pixels before they ask about your day.

how do you earn your credits ?i dont wanna buy them cus its a game.

Honestly, I can’t help you there. I always buy my credits whenever there is a major sale. There are also credit resellers that sell them for a MUCH cheaper price than what imvu offers them for. Sorry. :( I know that struggle.

it makes me really sad going into chatrooms and no is even interacting with each other.. like they all just sit there doing nothing. idk i really miss imvu like 7 years ago when everyone talked to each other and i had actual friends that i would look forward to talking to when i got home. it makes me really sad every time i think about it lol. :< i had so many online friends and now i have none and it really sucks.

One thing i absolutely hate and cant stand is when people on imvu tease and bully the new people. I think its cool new people are joining which means more friends and more people to get to know. Not cool to make fun of new people and make them feel unwelcome. Plus who gives a shit about what their avi looks like? The clothes they choose or come with and the "guest" in front of their name doesnt make them a shitty person and it doesnt make them in any way beneath others who have "guest" taken off. I dont care if you have guest in front of your name or not and i dont care if you buy from the first page of the catalog I'll be your friend cause you're probably cool. Why cant we all just be friends god damn it?!
