I snapped and decided I needed a sideblog where I could reblog, post, draw, rant about Blue Sky's Epic without feeling an ounce of restraint. Not spoiler free. I can't believe I have to say this, but pleaaaaaaaaaase stop using my art without my permission. I'll probably say yes if you ask me, so please PLEASE ask first. No, it does not count if you credit me, ASK ME FIRST. I will not bite you (look at that pic of me weeping do i look threatening to you??? i am not). I recently watched Epic for the first time and fell in love with it. Such an amazing movie!! I also discovered your art ^^ and its awesome! Its epic (; I wish that Epic had a bit more widespread fandom, but thank you dearly for giving us all these magnificent Epic art and content :D really thank you for everything! Has MK ever tried to dress up as a Leaf Men for Halloween or something?

I’m really sorry if I’m answering this late! (I hope I’m not but I probably am) Tumblr hasn’t been notifying me of any new asks for some reason.

Anyway, I don’t really know? I don’t really see MK as someone who’d wear anything fancy for Halloween, but that’s more my personal interpretation of the character. :’) Anyway have this messy doodle of MK dressed as a Leafman in complete contradiction with everything I just said.

Beautiful spring days like today remind me of one of one of my favorite movies, Epic, and also this song.

I also wanted to sketch and color something right quick because I needed a fanart fix before I plunge myself into my work. This job will be the focus of my creative energy for the next two months and while I’m excited for it, I’m also looking forward to just kicking back and enjoying the nice weather when it’s all finished.

Happy 3 Year Anniversary, EPIC!

I can’t believe it’s been 3 years since Epic came out. It was overlooked by a lot of people, but it still remains one of the most visually beautiful movies I’ve ever seen. It also REALLY kickstarted my desire to go into animation again, so it holds a really special place in my heart.

It’s the third year anniversary of one of my all time favorite animated films, EPIC! I didn’t have time to plan any specific drawing, but I wanted to contribute something. So I ended up spending my evening watching epic for the millionth time, and sketching these little doodles. Epic is the film that really got me interested in animation, and the reason I joined tumblr, so I had to post something. Happy 3-year anniversary of Blue Sky’s Epic!
