Maternity Exam

Can we talk about that maternity exam for a second? who would have known that I would do so well?! I think I have finally found my favorite and most efficient way to study. I rewrite my notes and then I watch the voiced lecture and then use quizlet to quiz myself on that chapter or concept before I move on. It has totally helped me and I got a really good grade, one of my best grades all semester. I will continue to do this for my upcoming exam. let’s hope MedSurg is the same way. Fingers crossed.

We're Getting Close

We only have a couple of weeks left of school before finals and I am so ready for it to be over. I am very discouraged because of how I did on my second pathopharm exam. I did not think I was going to do that bad and the questions threw me for a loop because we only focused on practically one medication when we were told to memorize almost 20. I just have to study more, push myself and get more sleep!! good luck to everyone out there.

Exam 1s

Okay guys, so all of my first Exams are finally over...Whew! I do not think that I did as good as I thought I was going to do. But I am not going to let that stop me. I still have many more exams to prove to myself. Surprisingly The class that I thought I would do the best in is the class that I did the worst in. I am going to put one foot in front of the other and continue to study and better myself. I hope you guys are doing well out there and that you did great on your exams. Getting to Know Me

Hi everyone! My name is Kendra, thank you for stumbling upon my blog. I am glad to have you here. A few things about me is that I am a junior nursing student at Widener University and I am also a nursing Cadet in the Army ROTC program. It is the second week of junior year and I have had my first in-person maternity clinical (which was amazing by the way) The babies were just so adorable. I had the chance to administer Colace to a postpartum mother as well as take vitals on multiple babies and mothers. The course work so far has been insane, but I just have to manage my time and not let myself fall behind. Getting here has been a struggle and whirlwind but I am willing to put in the time, effort tears and late, LATE nights to get to the finish line. Stick with me and let’s get through this together! Just coming back to this quote because I needed to read this again. It is not easy and this semester has not been easy for me but i am trying and making myself remember that at the end of the day it will be worth it.
