the question comes rather suddenly; to the point where she has to do a double take to make sure it’s suigetsu. the kage leans back in her chair, eyes focused on the wall art behind him and she lets out a hum. there’s been a multitude of things she’s wanted, needed over the years. things that she feared not getting, things that she had gotten and it turned out not to be what she had even wanted. fingers cross and her chin dips down into the bow of her hands, and she finally moves her gaze to her bodyguard, her friend, her comrade. “all the time.”
