Olivia just nodded. “She and Holton are perfect together. They’re actually getting married right after we get back to New York. She wouldn’t let me leave until I finished helping her plan everything.” She grinned as soon as she felt Kenneth’s arm around her waist and chuckled along with him. “I think she’s sweet. She reminds me of my own mom, before she got sick,” she stayed quiet for a few seconds before looking up at him. “Do you think I’m making a good impression?” she asked, her voice filled with worry.

Kenneth kissed her on the forehead as she mentioned her own mother and grabbed her hand, walking beside her toward the lunch room. "Meh, I don't think so..." He said lackadaisically. Of course he was joking, trying to make her nervous. "Kidding, seems like they already love you, babe." He pulled a chair for her before taking a seat in front of his girlfriend. "Tell me, Olivia... Do you enjoy Italian cuisine?" Christian inquired.

She couldn’t help but chuckle as her boyfriend interrupted his father. She had heard about his other girlfriends, but only bits and pieces, and it was enough for her to be able to tell that she was different from them, in that she was actually meeting his parents. Her hazel eyes flashed back at Kenneth as she followed his parents and he was playing around with his phone. She was sure she had about half a dozen texts herself, but she wasn’t about to be rude and pull her own phone out. “This house is amazing, by the way. It reminds me of my dad’s house in Seattle.”

"Oh, yeah. Mom, dad, we're going to Seattle to see her dad. Aka Kathryn's uncle, you remember Kat, right mom? One of my friends from New York? The green eyed little one?" He rhetorically asked his mom, she was just supposed to nod and keep walking to the lunch room, but she didn't... "Oh, you're Kathryn's cousin? She's a sweetheart. Just as you seem to be, darling. And that boyfriend of hers is such a cutie as well, I-" Kenneth interrupted her, "Mom..." She chuckled and drove her attention back to the task of walking. Kenneth pulled Olivia by the waist, "I don't know what's got to her, she seems so... talkative today." He whispered. "I think she's trying to pass a good impression." He chuckled.

Olivia’s heart rate had nearly doubled since she walked in the door due to how nervous she was, but she tried her best to not let it show, and even chuckled as his mother scolded him. She quickly shook both of their hands, a little more firmly than you’d expect from someone her size, but that could easily be blamed on the fact that she was a business major and had been practicing handshakes a lot. “It’s nice to finally meet you both. Kenneth has told me a lot about you.” She flashed them a perfect smile before looking back up at her boyfriend and almost immediately reaching for his hand.
