                lucy looked up from her sketchbook, doodles of the TARDIS scattered among the page. the lady in front of her, at first take, seems like one of the strict teacher ladies that she would rebel against at school, but on her second take, she sees a little bit of softness in her eyes, one that she could admire.   &   that was when lucy began drawing her eyes. it was a bad habit, but she often found herself drawing interesting strangers. finally, lucy stands with her coffee, her book still open   &   exposed to the woman, TARDIS   &   the partial drawing of the eyes.                                               ❛      ------------------------    excuse me, ma'am. ❜

“Lucy –– Lucy it’s not that simple!” What was it with him and getting companions who never listened? It wasn’t a not wanting to help, but self preservation. He can’t help anyone if he’s helping those who can help themselves? At Least that’s the lie he tells himself. If he gets caught up, his recklessness will become undone, untangled like a tapestry. He doesn’t want to become that man again, he’s not ready.  But it appears Rigsy’s bold daughter doesn’t give him much CHOICE.  “–––I am so telling your parents when we get back to the TARDIS,” he grumbles under his breath before rushing after her.
