Well, that’s not weird.
jason-fell:
I agree. If for no other reason than Jo would kick my ass if I didn’t considering who her girlfriend is. And I’m not blind to the fact that the girl I’m interested in’s family isn’t human. There’s a few I wouldn’t lay down my life for personally, but she has some siblings I’d protect for her. I don’t think there would be much of an argument from our generation.
My brother and sister wouldn’t be opposed I’m sure. There are just some that are more difficult than others to convince like my cousins. I don’t know how things are going to go, but I think it’s worth it to try to find a way to change things. And, I know Diana and Jonica are on this side of things. If the council starts a war...I know they’re not going to win it.
jason-fell:
I think the way they’re going about things is wrong. But I also think there should be some accountability and who else would be sure it’s there?
I think that...there’s a way to make sure the town is safe without endangering people that...didn’t particularly choose the supernatural life that was thrust upon them. I think that...the next generation of the council, our generation could do that. The idea of the council isn’t bad, it’s just the foundation they built it on, the...hunting any and all supernatural just for being...different. I think changing that foundation into protection, if there is ever a real threat that needs to be dealt with is the best alternative. I just...don’t know how everyone feels about it. It feels like it’s more of a dictatorship than a democracy right now, too, which would need to be changed. I think it’s time.
jason-fell:
I might not have your answer but you can always ask
How do you really feel about the council?
jason-fell:
Not everyone, but there’s some stubborn people who can’t.
Can I ask you something?
If I can find a way to accept things as they actually are, I don’t think everyone else is impossible to convince.
jonicaxlockwood:
I’m not going to if I can help it. But, it does…make me wonder if any of my family has the curse. I hope it does, at least. This whole relationship thing is new, but I…love her, whether I should be there already or not. How many of them have you met? I– Diana and I, we…were talking about changing the council. Do you think we have a chance?
It would be so ironic if your father had it and didn’t know about it. Well, maybe that means that you are both doing everything right so far. I met Klaus Mikaelson who was...interesting and then I met Belle Gilbert who I didn’t even know was a vampire for a solid week until we had a more in depth conversation. I think our generation does. And, well, I think my father just...follows what everyone else does and my mother doesn’t particularly seem like a fan of the council. The biggest problems we’d run into are Diana’s father, your father, and Michelle Fell. Although, I am interested to see what Zane will do when he finds out the son he gave away is a vampire. My cousins are probably harder to persuade but...not impossible. I really do believe most of it is founded on fear but we don’t have to be afraid of them, at least. Either way, eventually...I think that empire may fall.
michael-mikaelson:
Michael Mikaelson, it’s my pleasure to meet you.
You, too.
kheiland-salvatore:
It always helps to find a positive way to see things.
I’ve been trying to do that.
jonicaxlockwood:
I don’t know if lucky is how I would describe it, but yeah, maybe. She’s really important to me, too. I…don’t know if she loves me. Or how I would even tell her I do since it’s only been lke, a month. All I know is that…human or not, her family isn’t, and she doesn’t deserve to have anything happen to them. I might have a hard time against my mom, all things aside, but…I won’t let Rebecka lose them because they’re not human.
If you don’t have it, it’s probably better to not have to worry about the werewolf curse. If it isn’t there yet, I’m sure it will get there. She really does care a lot about you. I haven’t met her family or anything but the way she talks about them, too...it puts everything in perspective for me and it makes me realize how...wrong it was to just hunt any vampire. There are some out there that are threats but I don’t think any of the new people really...fit that description. They...have humanity.
kheiland-salvatore:
That’s something
It’s progress I suppose.
michael-mikaelson:
Yeah I’m still getting use to it myself.
I’m Kerry.
jonicaxlockwood:
I just, uh…for starters, the Lockwood family is descended from werewolves. I’ve been told the gene…skipped over me, but it exists. Some of them, maybe. I think my parents are lost causes, but they’ve never been very fond of me, so. Yeah, Rebecka. She’s…really great.
Maybe you got lucky in that department. Well, maybe if the Lockwood name runs more deep you can find family in the others. You’re really important to her, you know? I can tell. And as far as love goes, if it comes down to protecting her against the council, you have to. Although I think their whole protecting humans thing goes for any human so I think she’ll be okay.
jonicaxlockwood:
The council and my family don’t know a lot of things. I could tell you things I’ve learned lately, because Diana trusts you and she’s the only real friend I’ve ever actually had, I trust you. But I know you believed the council’s crap so I don’t want to overload you. And, I think…they’d declare war no matter what we do. Say we’ve been ‘manipulated’ or something. All I know is, if there’s a war…I don’t think I’d side with my family. I never really fit anyway, and I’ve…got someone to protect that isn’t messed up in our families stupid mindsets.
I think I’m mentally ready to take it all in and I can tell you what I know as well. There’s...a few of them that I can try to knock some sense into. Some of them...are really stuck in their ways, though. Rebecka, right? She talks about you...a lot and I’ve only recently met her.
michael-mikaelson:
I hope that it gets better though.
The changes around here take some adjusting to, but yeah me too.
kheiland-salvatore:
Are you okay?
Thankfully, yes.
