Fire was just hiking out of Mt. Moon when he heard Pikachu growl. Confused, Fire went over to his pal and looked where it was pointing. In the distance he could see someone walking along with something on his shoulder. A closer look reviewed that something was a Pikachu.

"Come Pikachu! Let’s go!" The trainer said running towards the other trainer. His own Pikachu keeping up besides him.

They ran for a while before Fire caught to the other trainer. The one that was crying. Confused, he slowed down and came to a stop by the other. “Hey, are you alright?” He asked.

“Hey, are you alright?”

It was a little embarrassing for Ash to be found by someone in this state. Sure a few minutes ago he had been wishing for human company but his best friend had reduced him to tears in those few minutes. Pikachu didn’t usually get mad but when he did, it took a lot of begging and grovelling from Ash’s side to convince the yellow mouse. And that was exactly what Ash was doing when the other trainer caught up to him.

He quickly wiped away his tears and put up his best ‘I’m-not-usually-like-this’ face as he turned around to greet the new comer, “I’m fine, really. Thank you for asking.” Ash had to look up since the trainer was much taller and probably a few years older than him.

It was when Pikachu jumped down from his shoulder that Ash noticed that standing near the trainer’s feet was a Pikachu as well.

“Oh cool, you have a Pikachu too!” Ash grinned, “I’m Ash Ketchum by the way, nice to meet you.”

Travelling could be tiresome thought Ash as he trudged through the rocky path. Especially now that he had decided to do all of his travelling alone. Well not completely alone, his faithful yellow mouse was still by his side, quite literally. The said mouse sat perched on his trainer’s left shoulder happily slurping ketchup. Ash knew better than too remark on his Pikachu’s activities, because you never can get used to a thunderbolt. Nevertheless, Ash grudgingly moved forward, consoling himself with thoughts of cheese burgers and meat balls which he would devour the moment they reached the closest town.

He wondered how much farther he would have to walk since his feet were starting to ache and the silence was killing was him. He had tried his best to strike up a conversation with his best friend but Pikachu just ignored his attempts. The reason for this was that Pikachu had not approved of Ash’s decision to travel without any of his usual travelling companions by his side. Ash had tried to explain to the Pokemon that it was important that he do this alone without depending on others for help but Pikachu was not convinced. And so three days into their new journey, Ash was still being ignored.

“I think I should buy a bike. It’ll be faster and less tiring, what do you think buddy?”

Ash was obviously, rewarded with silence. He sighed and the pair continued on their path. Ash hoped to run into someone who would talk to him before he gave up and burst into tears.

☾ : Sleep headcanon

Ash is somewhat of a heavy sleeper. While sleeping indoors, the only thing that manages to wake him up is a thunder bolt from Pikachu at full power. But while camping outdoors, Ash tries his best to not fall into a deep slumber in case of any danger to his friends or himself. Ash also has an uncanny ability to fall asleep in the tensest situations. He doesn’t really have a stable sleeping pattern as he goes to sleep whenever he feels tired and only wakes up when he feels fully refreshed.

☠ : Drinking/drunk headcanon

Apart from liquor chocolates and cooking wine, Ash has zero experience with alcohol. His Mom had told him very sternly that he must keep his distance from such beverages until he is of age.

⋆ : Sex headcanon

Being asexual, Ash has no interest in such things and is of course, a virgin. Unless you count that one kiss from Latias, Ash really hasn’t been around much.

☮ : Bedroom/house/living quarters headcanon

Since he is travelling most of the time, Ash makes sure to be neat and not mess up the rooms that he stays in. But back home, his bedroom is always a mess.

♤ : Cooking headcanon

One of the dishes that Ash can cook really well is omelette rice. Other than that, Ash’s first attempt at making macaroons was fairly successful as well, much to Cilan’s surprise. Though what he really loves making are fruit salads since the ingredients are easy on his pocket and his Pokemon enjoy eating it as well.

♤ : Cooking headcanon

When he began his journey Ash didn’t feel the need to learn how to cook because he assumed he’d be eating at lavish restaurants with all the money that he would earn by defeating trainers. Obviously, it hadn’t been as easy as he had thought but thanks to Brock and then Cilan, he was able to learn a few tricks. And though he isn’t as good as his best friends, he isn’t as bad as May either.

☻ : Mood headcanon

His mood tends to affect the people surrounding him, for instance if he’s not feeling great the tension in the room automatically increases. Other than that, Ash is a cheerful person though he gets provoked very easily.
