Make pride accessible for everyone!!!!

I made a post about this last year and the year before, and thought if I did it this way it gives people and orgs something to work towards. Often people forget that disabled people aren't just wheelchair users, and even those who are, need more than just that ramp!

My first ever pride, not only as a wheelchair but my first ever EVER pride, I went in expecting to feel at home.

Obviously I wasn't, I'm disabled, so why should I?

Instead there was just a ridiculous amount of uneven flooring, a steep ramp to the disabled toilet, no sanitary towel bin in the disabled toilet (???) no allowances to be let out of the festival to fetch things from my car, no where quiet and organisers who seemed genuinely surprised to see a wheelchair user!

My next pride, three years later, I was a seller, and while they had sorted their toilet problem (still no sanitary towel bin???), the hill to get in wouod have been genuinely impossible for me to get to if I hadn't been driving to get my stall in anyway, even with someone pushing me, no quiet areas, plenty of kerbs for me to get stuck at and again, genuine surprise.

Why is it so surprising to consider disabled people might be at pride? Not only do queer disabled people exist, but parents and family of queer kids and people, vendors and even entertainers!

Making pride accessible is crucial!

I kind of just realized something about Gargamel's and the Smurfs that he made

This is more like genes and genetics and monkeyless clay.

We'll start with his first born Smurfette. She is a blonde I have hit cannon that the moment that we met her hair was covered in soot that's why it's a darker affliction. Right after Papa Smurf kind of gave her a makeover and I think that her his magic cleaned her hair it became blonde. They're selective jeans most likely in his family that yes has blonde hair. and that's it a lot for sperm foods made out of clay but most likely he used some of his DNA to make them come alive. Like hair or spit even skin particles.

But most of the time I notice that his family has brown, orange hair Black hair with a blue streak in it.

And now I got an idea to draw young Gargamel with black hair with a blue streak in it because I think it's just a magical birth side effect.

Although he did make a Smurf mermaid with purple hair which for Smurfette and these four are their middle child sister. My guess is to make her more aquatic with his magic that it turned her hair purple.

By to buy I call her Kailani, because she's her own person who deserves her own name instead of taking the name of her sister.

I like to think she got an immediately adopted by this lady.

I went down the rabbit hole of this guy's family. He has a twin brother which is Cannon in the comics.

Apparently, he doesn't talk to his twin like at all because. Apparently, he's kind and that's why they don't talk Most likely he's the black sheep of the family. his name is Gourmelin. Apparently, this man also got married which I like to believe that she's equally kind as him who had given birth to triplets or Gargamel's nephews. They look like their dad and their uncle. Those poor kids.

The nephew triplets don't have names so I'm going to give them names. Gideon, Balthazar and Caspian

Apparently, they do have a younger brother from one of the Smurf movies.

Yeah, the goblin with jaundice. Before that I know that he ever got married or have kids. That means have to love someone and most likely he would throw up if he actually thought of it.

Which I like to think he's the last boy until they have a sister. Who is a mother of Dwayne and Rowena.
