a lot of time has passed since i last used tumblr.. im still sort of remembering how to use it and also still learning the new functions.. can side blogs not have custom url pages anymore?? idk whats happening lol
anyways if you're at all curious about what ive been up to in the past like 6 years here you go:

i kinda dont give a fuck so im airing out my own dirty laundry
when i was in high school, i dated a boy online. around that same time is when i was most active with my blog. this boy was not kind to me, we were long distance and he was very untrustworthy. he would constantly bombard me with questions like: did you cheat on me todya? were you drinking at your friends house? when i had never shown him any actions that would make those questions valid. he also coerced me into having sex with him. saying that i wasn't allowed to take back my consent after i agreed to it. essentially saying i blue balls-ed him. i got out of that situation because i cried so much i threw up.
my blog was my safe place during that time, and i really cherished the little community i made on tumblr. i didnt feel close to the friends i had in person, so i often looked for connections online. it was comforting.
when i finally had the courage to break things off with that boyfriend, he would continue messaging me. making fake accounts on tumblr, twitch, instagram. it made me incredibly uncomfortable. tumblr was no longer my happy, safe space.
and basically after that i got really into league of legends LMAOO
sorry that was very therapeutic to write actually. anyways after that whole mess of a relationship, i was off tumblr, using discord, twitter, and REDDIT. got really into twitch streamers and watching like lcs and stuff. wasn't reading manga so much anymore, but keeping up with Horimiya of course. I used a lot of my graphic design skills from making pink manga posts and applied them to real life. I worked on my high school year book, did a marketing and graphic design internship placement. and then I took a media program in university.
once I moved away to university i totally stopped playing video games all together for a while. i was meeting so many new people and really exploring my extraverted side. i'm really grateful for my time in university. the amount of amazing friends I met at dorm parties or in classes fills me with joy. genuine connections with people around me, it's incredible.
and now? I work in the media industry :3 enjoying my simple little life. not sure how much i want to share with the world for privacy reasons but i'm ready to take back my account and make it my happy place again <3

iāve spent an excessive amount of time for over the past year playing this game, so i wanted to make something for it that was maybe equally time consuming hahaā¦.
i based a lot of this on my own acnl town, including some of the villagers (although a couple of them are just villagers i really like!)
