5 yrs ago today vs. today. . 31 weeks pregnant 😳 with baby #2 and today I’m less than a month from hitting 40. 🤣 . I gained nearly 50 lbs from each of my pregnancies and struggled to feel and look like me again. . I literally tried everything out there. Fad diets that I had no idea what the hell I was doing. Purchasing over-priced exercise equipment using it for a few weeks before it just started to collect dust in my basement. Jumping full force into working out 6 days a week and learning more about nutrition but struggling literally every day. . I saw my body start to change but I always felt horrible. I would constantly fall out of my routine. I never liked to workout very much but I just kept pushing harder. My cravings were crazy and I was literally hungry all the time. I never felt full!! My energy was so low that I was literally lethargic in the middle of the day. And when you have young kids it was impossible! And let me tell you, when you’re hungry and tired all the time you are one cranky mama! 😉😂 . You guys... I was SICK of living life like this. I needed BETTER!! And then I found it. Well in all honestly it found me. Every where I turned I kept hearing the word Ketones and decided to ask questions. Like “could this be the tool that I needed?” “Can ketones get me out of this funk?” . Quite simply the answer is yes. Nearly a year and a half later and I haven’t felt this great in over a decade! I have energy all day to keep up with my kids. My mood is improved in mind Zaidi and stress are lower. I don’t even have to work out as hard or nearly as much as I used to and I feel better and stronger than I ever have before. OK real talk… Some of you may not like what I’m about to say. But honestly then your probably the one that needs to hear this the most. . How many of you sit there wanting something more. Wanting to do more, wishing you had more, wishing you had things that you see other people having. Going on vacations OTHER people get to go on. Slaving away at a job that just drains you and you know in the end It’ll never get you where you want to be. Waiting for tomorrow for something to change... OK next question.... . What are you doing to get those things you want in life? Have you gone back to school? Have you gotten a better job? Have you made the changes in your life that will get you there?? . NO??? 🤔 Not yet.... . I’m simply going to do you a favor right now. STOP thinking about it. STOP dreaming about it. STOP wishing. . If you don’t have what it takes to make those changes then you’re NEVER going to be content with what you have. You’ll never feel like you lived a full life. . Which honestly to me just seems like an absolute damn waste. You’ve got to stop just wishing and dreaming and wanting.... How many of you don’t really want to give up on that dream? 🙋🏻‍♀️yeah me neither. Then don’t stop...BUT you need to take action!!! #DoTheThings . My wise, beautiful mentor and friend says this often and she is absolutely right. . I don’t always feel like showing up. I don’t always feel like I have the time or have something to offer. But seriously...I just need get over it!!! . Tonight D and I were having an “off” night and just honestly weren’t seeing eye-to-eye which put me in a absolute funk and bad mood. Learning to live with a partner again and how to co-parent is HARD WORK. 😔 . I was laying in Grayson’s bed struggling to get him to sleep tonight when I received a message asking for me to be on zoom call tonight with 100’s of promoters 😳 . Ummm...NO!! Was seriously my first reaction. . But honestly that answer didn’t feel right so I got a hold of some of my girls and talked it out. I realized how can I expect my team to be present if I can’t be present. So again… #DoTheThings . So I took a nice big sip of wine and got on a call sharing my story and being real about not wanting to always show up but doing it anyways. . We all can make excuses and come up with reasons why we don’t need to do something....but 80% of life is showing up! . Woken up by the alarm at 6 am.....exhausted 🙄😴 . Working or momming for a few hours and then by 2 pm....exhausted🙄😴 . Get home from work or kids get home from school, dinner needs to be made, homework needs to be done, about a 1,001 activities for the kids...exhausted.🙄😴 . Why do allow this to happen???🤔 . When did we start to feel like it was acceptable to be in a constant state of fog and exhaustion? . I was the mom that was just going through the motions. Feeling like all i was doing was existing, just getting through the day and so damn tired. . Sound familiar? . Well guess what...it doesn’t have to be that way. 😯 . I finally found what has given balance. The get up and go for my day. What helps my brain literally think more clearly and puts me in a awesome mood. Has helped me finally fit into a very cute skirt I’ve been hiding in my closet for years without a crazy diet and exercise. . And the best part....it’s hands down the simplest thing EVA!!! . It doesn’t have to be hard. It doesn’t have to be complicated. But some of us, make that most of us probably need help like I did. . Put a 🙌🏻 if your feelin’ me on this.
