Okay, Iâve reacted, now fuck off.
A couple people have asked me, âWhy didnât you like US?â even though I was pretty clear, in as non-spoilery a manner as I could manage, that I thought the third act was extremely weak and killed most of the good will that the generally excellent first two acts created. I am still going to shy away from spoilers, because the movie is still new and everybody who wants to see it has not had the chance to do so.
So, for now, just accept this answer: the revelations and twist in the third act make little to no sense when you actually think about them. Thatâs all youâre getting from me while this movie is still fresh.

I will never understand why people on this website take such personal offense at a mild post about not liking a movie. I am glad itâs doing well. I like Jordan Peele. I want him to make more movies. I just think he outsmarted himself with this one.
In the real world, people can disagree about movies and share their disparate viewpoints without declaring war on anybody who differs.
