The Eltingville Club fandom has a gigantic problem with sexualizing teenagers and it is disgusting, and nobody wants to say anything about it.
I don't really care about fiction and all that, I read a lot of despicable visual novels but it like really gets to a point when like 90% of the fan content for this comic is "WHAT IF YOU WERE HAVING SEX WITH THIS 17 YEAR OLD BOY!" like would you guys do this with any other work? It's so odd! It's weird! Can any of you think of anything else, none of you wanna analyze the story, or the characters, or genuinely appreciate the work that went into making the comic, you all just want to jack off to these kids! And it's fucking gross! I understand having a crush on them, I have an entire shrine in my hospital room right now dedicated to Josh, I'm under a Josh blanket typing next to my Josh pillow, but Jesus Christ if I was saying anything sexual I'd keep it private! It's to the point there's PORN, VERY BADLY CENSORED PORN on the main tags of the underaged versions of these characters. It's giving me flashbacks to the anhka zone memes. And you'll get rule 34 of every fandom, yes, I understand, that's why it's a rule of the internet, but it's unacceptable when it's the child versions WHEN WE HAVE CANONICAL ADULT VERSIONS OF THESE CHARACTERS! 😭😭😭
I understand being a teenager and not finding the adult versions attractive, sure, but don't share that shit publically? You should know better if you're around my age, you do not say things like that publically! It's worse when it's grown adults making content of these kids, and then teenagers interact with them! The entire thing is fucking disgusting, this is a disgusting environment, and I am sick of nobody brining attention to it and it being a giant open secret.
I'm not on the spanish speaking side of the fandom but I have definitely heard stories and there have been many many many people exposed for being groomers.
I'm not 'anti' or 'pro' I am very much 'I'm in a hospital and have more things to worry about than pictures and words that aren't real' but when you're using THE MAIN TAGS, that you know a LARGELY UNDERAGE FANBASE will see, to post BADLY CENSORED PORN OF UNDERAGE CHARACTERS I think you should know what kind of messenge that sends about who you are and where your priorities lie. If you're gonna make porn of these characters, even the underaged ones, I cannot stop you so unfortunately I can't care that much, but if you're going to post it where you know full well children will see it, you are either stupid or creepy. Make a private twitter, don't use main tags, tag your things nsfw, at the least use the 'see more' and warn people it's porn first.
tl:dr: My problem is not so much that people are drawing porn of barely legal characters, that'll happen regardless and I cannot stop it even if I don't think it's a good thing, but the fact that people are posting it SO publically and SO openly to where children, REAL children can view it is disgusting. Do not use main tags, tag your things as nsfw, at the least give a warning and use the see more feature. Use a private twitter or bluesky (idk if bluesky has privs), just do not make this accessible to a largely underage fanbase, it's fucking disgusting!
