Everyone at some point in their lives asks what the meaning of life is, the purpose of life, their role, but there isn’t an universal answer. Instead, it’s individualized. You grow, learn, and then start creating your own meanings. There are assumed expectations for what’s supposed to make for a fulfilling and a happy life. But what matters is how you get to each chapter, how you make it through when challenged, because nothing is perfect and it’s OK. Sometimes you have to get knocked down lower than you’ve ever imagined possible to stand taller than you ever were. Fuck the fairy tales and expected norms but we do get our happily ever after.You come out stronger because you had to be, smarter because of your mistakes, happier because of the sadness you felt, and wiser because you learned.
